Kihei Kai Unit #1 3/9/2006
We are back and thanks would be too simplistic! Your selection of accommodations was wonderful! Everyone said that reserving a unit with 3 1/2 weeks before leaving is impossible! The unit was 20ft from a 7 mile long beach, my favorite type! Often the beach was empty! We hade full view windows to the ocean from both the living room and bedroom as well as full views from the side bedroom window and side living room window that opens to the full porch. The sunsets were just everywhere! Even the shower had a window to see the bay while showering! The unit was very clean and charming. The bed was full support and very comfortable! All kitchen utensils were present and food prep was very easy, just like being at home. Access to the beach was the best part. We would just run 40ft into the water for a swim, return to the shower for outside sand removal and into the smaller but very functional pool! Shopping starts an easy one mile car trip away, restaurants were varied and plentiful, and we stopped at ten different beaches from Sugar beach to Big beach all within a ten mile journey. Six miles away you are in the desert with cactus plants, ten miles away we viewed the Iao Valley mountain/falls with tropical foliage. Every morning we were up at 5:00 to 6:00 with many different activities! The front area of the building was a focal point during the early evening. Many of the other visitors have come and stayed at Kihei Kai for the last 30 yrs! As such they would socialize before and after sunset. They represented an age group between 50 and 75 yrs old and were very pleasant and respectful of your wish to "party-on" with them or go in your own direction. This was the BEST vacation Jill and I have ever experienced! You helped make it wonderful. I am telling all! Thank you and we hope to do this again next year with a longer lead time!

We are just back from our vacation on Maui and our stay in unit 1101 at the Wailea Elua. We loved it and felt at home. The view was the greatest and only two minutes (1 min.)? to the beach. We loved sitting by the pool to sun and hearing the waves crashing on shore. I liked the option of going to the beach or the pool when we got hot from sunning. We saw some great sunsets. We also loved the walk along the beach. I got to one end but never did get to the end on the side toward The Shops at Wailea. Loved the shops also! We had everything we needed in the condo. Hairdryer, magnifying mirror, binoculars and we even had laundry soap. The only thing I would add is a small container of sugar for coffee and cereal. I keep forgetting to buy it at the store and kept having to pick some up when we ate out at restaurants. The linen service was great also. As a mater of fact they came to often. We didn't need our towels changed that much! I'm not complaining they were great. We keep putting out the do not disturb sign and I think they got worried we wear not getting enough clean towels. We also loved sitting on the patio in the evening. I especially liked the orchids on the Palm trees. Since I grow orchids at home they were very special to me. I didn't miss mine so much. I would highly recommend your condos to anyone! Thanks again for making our vacation so pleasant.

I would like to tell you how happy our co-workers were, not only with our unit, but the property, being greeted at the unit, orientation, booking tours, and how everything was handled. We were so tickled that they had such a good time. They could not stop telling everyone they were bumping into at work today, about their trip. Also on New Years Eve they went over to the Kam Beach III, and enjoyed the Grand Wailea fireworks display from there. Thanks to everyone at Ali'i for all of your help, and for everything you do, to insure all guests have a memorable experience!

Hi there,
We have now arrived back safely in Germany and the everyday routine has come far too quickly. I (we) just wanted to let you know that we had a super time in Kihea Beach - the condo was super as was the planning and everything else. Our compliments - we have stayed in various places booked through the internet but were more than pleased this time. We shall have no problems recommending you further - unfortunately not too many people we know go to Maui!!!
The grounds are beautifully kept and the staff all very helpful. Should we ever come back then we will be in contact with you.

We are home from our Hawaii trip, and wanted to take a moment to thank you and Virginia for the excellent service we received from your company at the Kihei (Beach) Resort.
You may not recall but we were traveling to Maui for a wedding and at the last minute decided not to stay with the parents of the bride in their 2 bedroom condo in Wailea. I went on line and found your company, we phoned and Ryan within a few minutes gave us several options.
We use vacation rentals alot in our travels, and a couple of times have been burned because the place looked nothing like what was represented on the web page. We commend Alii Resorts, your pictures match the unit just as you see it when you arrive. We were however pleasantly surprised by the ocean front view, and enjoyed the beach in morning walks, with very few other people around us. We felt safe, secure and yet secluded at the same time.
The information you provided for us upon arrival in Maui, was so helpful. The driving directions were right on, and just as you said upon arrival at the condo we were greeted personally by Virginia.
We traveled to Maui and Waikiki both and without a doubt we received the best welcome from Virginia. She was so friendly and helpful, and reminded us that if we needed anything after she left, to call the office.
The condo was the cleanest unit we have ever stayed in, we had white socks on the day we arrived and walked all around the condo even out on the patio and there was not a speck of anything on the socks when we took them off
that night.
While there were a couple of comments regarding pesky little ants, and the ceiling fan not working full speed left on the comment card, we would without a doubt recommend and utilize your services again.
By the way, when the family returns for a reunion, hopefully next year, they all plan to utilize your company because they saw the condo and service you provided to us.

Well, we're back in Calgary today (Go Flames!!), and are already missing Maui desperately. We're thinking we might just check our mail and head back to Hawaii... but in case we don't, I wanted to send you a note.
While I've been fortunate enough to visit the island several times with my family, this was my husband's first trip. He has always chosen areas like Indonesia and Micronesia for his holidays, and thought Hawaii would be too "touristy", too developed. But I convinced him Maui should be our honeymoon destination... and then spent many hours researching and planning the "perfect" vacation in the hopes that he would fall in love with the island, too.
In this regard, Don was incredibly helpful. I had planned on beginning our trip in Kaanapali, spending some time in Hana, then staying the final two weeks in Kihei. Long before I had committed to booking an Alii Resorts unit, Don gave me excellent advice and information on the areas I was looking at. Frankly, I had been in touch with several rental agents, but Don's helpfulness, generosity and patience convinced me to book the condo at Kihei Beach.
As it turns out, my faith in Don was well-founded; we really loved the condo. We were able to extend our trip by 4 nights, but our unit was booked. We had seriously considered moving to Napili for these extra nights, but if Don couldn't rent me a condo there, I didn't want one - so we took another condo in the same building (also lovely!), which was perfect.
During our stay, I also spoke with Virginia, Mindy and Ryan. They were also unfailingly pleasant, helpful and patient. I've referred several people to your company, and will continue to do so; I'm sure they'll receive the same wonderful service.
And Don: I'm thrilled to report that our hard work paid off... Mark fell in love with Maui, and is already preparing for our next trip (hopefully with the whole family in December). One of the things that "got him" was the wonderful aloha spirit that abounds throughout the island and is so prevalent at Alii Resorts. So kudos and thanks to Don and the entire staff; we'll definitely be seeing you again soon.

Mindy, I am 63 yrs. old and have traveled extensively on business and pleasure for approx. 35 yrs. I have never spoken to a customer service representative that was as cordial , helpful and accommodating as you, (you could have sold me a Water Front Time Share in Phoenix). My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Sugar Beach Resort 25 yrs ago on July 14th but have not been able to return to Hawaii since. We are really looking forward to this trip. It is truly a pleasure to deal with a customer service rep as personable as you!

We just wanted to thank you for all the courtesies your company extended our family regarding Maui Parkshore #116. The woman who greeted us was extremely friendly and informative. She also made our week when she told us to just check out and not clean the unit when we left. In the past, we have spent a few hours cleaning & washing, etc. on our last day in paradise. The unit was perfect for our needs and we were surprised with the cooler, beach chairs, mats and number of towels available.
Also, we were very appreciative of the extended check out Alii Resorts voluntarily gave us yesterday. We had been thinking where we could "clean up" from the beach before we went to the airport at 5pm but with your extension our little dilemma was solved. Thanks again, Don, we'll be back! (soon we hope!)

Here is a quick "Thank You" to Ali'i Resorts! Having travelled the world, and having lodged
at numerous fine resorts and hotels, my recent vacation on Maui topped
the list! Kudos to Vern Andrews and his excellent staff at Ali'i Resorts for making my stay on
the most beautiful island in the world first class and pleasant. The Resort was well-prepared
and top notch. The folks at Ali'i Resorts were only a phone call away at any hour to satisfy my
needs and wants. One lesson learned in my life has been that "First Class" rarely costs more.
In fact it usually costs less when all factors are added into the overall value. Anyone
considering a short or long-term stay on Maui would be foolish not to check with Ali'i Resorts
to see the quality and value they offer.

I just wanted to write to thank you for the excellent service and attention we received from Ali'i
Resorts during our recent vacation. We rented a one-bedroom condo at the Maui Vista in Kihei
February 25th - March 1st. It was clean, well-equipped, and perfect for our needs. Few other
condo rental companies were interested in helping us because we only needed a half-week, but
Ali'i Resorts offered us a few options.
Marci Cortisse took excellent care of us, before and during our stay, and your concierge was
extremely helpful. In particular, she was honest and not pushy in her recommendations on dive
shops - something we didn't want to take any chances with.
We look forward to contacting you the next time we plan a visit to Maui (because everyone returns, right?)
