Distance: 19.3 miles round trip

Expected Duration: 2.5 – 3 hours roundtrip including scenic stops

Sites to see: Palauea BeachMaluaka Beach
Learn more about the geology, the reef and the Hawaiian History of the turnaround point, Ahihi-Kinau Natural Area Reserve, from Ride Leader, Kelli Lundgren. Kelli is an experienced volunteer at the reserve and is versed about the healthiest reef surrounding Maui.

Post-ride potluck and social will take place at Kalama Park Pavilion following the ride. Please bring a dish to share with the group;.

Cost: Free for Maui Bicycling League members ($25 annual fee), donation-based for other participants. Donation can be made on booking platform.

Gear Rentals: Please call ahead to arrange your rentals and bike delivery in advance. Helmets are required for all riders!

This group ride is intended for intermediate to advanced cyclists who ride at an average speed of 12 – 14mph. Both Maui residents and visitors are welcome to join!
