Kihei Surfside Resort is a unique six story oceanfront property located in South Kihei offering 180 degree views of the clear blue Pacific. The property and adjacent Keawekapu Beach together provide excellent locations for stunning sunsets, snorkeling, swimming, romantic beach strolling, and seasonal whale watching. Kihei Surfside Resort features an oceanfront pool area giving you the comfort of a pool setting with the beauty of a day at the beach. An oceanfront lawn with a wraparound view and gas barbeques is the envy of the area and the resort offers free parking to guests. The unit interiors include fully equipped kitchens, cable television, free local phone service, private lanais and luxury linen supplied directly by Alii Resorts.


A note from the owner: Come enjoy our newly renovated ocean front condo. We did a complete renovation in December of 2006 and it is nicely appointed with granite counter tops in the kitchen and bathrooms.


You can enjoy great sunsets from the lanai every evening or while you barbecue by the pool. The large grassy area outside the condo is great for playing with the kids. The master bedroom has a king size bed and has an on-suite bathroom for complete privacy.


The guest bedroom has two twin beds that can also be pushed together to create a king size bed if needed, which makes this a great condo for families and couples alike.

Pleasant stay in Kihei

This condominium is very well located in South Kihei, away from the bustle of Kihei Town, but close enough to be convenient. This particular condominium has been thoughtfully remodeled and was a very pleasant place to hang out. In fact, we had to push ourselves to get out! Hanging out on the lanai, drinking coffee every morning and enjoying the Hawaiian breeze was splendid. The condominium is close to the 5 Palms restaurant and a short walk to a lovely beach. In addition, there is a convenience store and a Yoga studio next door. I enjoyed an early morning Yoga class while looking out on the Pacific ocean and saw some whales breaching not far from shore. There were a few negatives. There is noise from the road, and this end of the building has regular maintenance trucks coming and going. The first night we stayed, there was a noisy group of people out in the parking lot after 10 AM and again around 4 AM. When we complained to Ali'i Resorts, they responded quickly and professionally, and the remaining nights were quiet. If you are looking for isolation and silence, this probably isn't the right choice for you. But for anyone else, I considered this rental a real find.

A wonderful stay

The people at ali'i Resorts went out of their way to make our stay in Maui a pleasant one. Their customer service is second to none. The unit was clean, they were there to help if we needed them and are a great group of people. I highly recommend using them any time you go to Maui

Great location, great condo

This condo is in a perfect location. Beautiful beach right next door and gorgeous green area right in front. Sit at the edge of the beach on lawn chairs and enjoy the sunsets, the waves, the sea. The beach is a great morning walk and finishes at the boardwalk in Wailea, so runners and walkers couldn't have it better. The condo was clean, big and well equipped. Ali'i were contacted when the wifi and phone stopped working as a result of a problem in another unit and they brought us a Mifi system to provide us with wifi. Very good service.

Very good experience with one problem

The unit was well equipped, the beds were comfortable and fans worked great. One issue however was that the convection/microwave oven did not work.

Perfect location for families...Huge lawn, short walk to beach. Happy to have beach chairs/umbrella provided. Bedding (pillows/sheets) need replacing. Kitchen needs inventory taken--missing/broken items. Great staff @ Ali'i...prompt attention and easy check-in.

Great 2-bedroom condo with a fabulous view

We have stayed in this building before, but this was our first time in this unit. The condo was perfect for our family. It had a big patio with an ocean view. You can't really see the sunset from this unit, but as it's an end unit you can see the sunrise over Haleakala from the breakfast table if you open the shutters. It had everything we needed (eg. kitchen utensils, beach towels). We had a minor problem (garburator) and ali'i were very response and came to fix it the next day. The check-in and check-out process were extremely easy; someone even came to meet us when we checked in to make sure we found everything we needed. Kihei Surfside has a huge lawn, which was great for our kids to play on. The view of the sunset from the lawn is incredible. We often saw whales and dolphins in the ocean from the lawn. You can walk along the beach path for a long way in both directions.

Great location

Great location, with easy access to beautiful beaches and the other attractions that Maui has to offer. The apartment was clean, well presented and had all the amenities you would want while enjoying your holiday. Highly recommend.

Awsome time and relaxation

Great location, clean and comfortable apt., quiet. Only thing to the minus side is one morning when there was cutting the grass early in the saturday morning.
  • Check-in time is 3:00pm / Check-out time is 11:00am.
  • Confirmed reservations will receive a letter of confirmation with a reservation number.
  • All units are non-smoking and pets are not permitted.
  • Rates are subject to change.
  • All rates are subject to 13.42% Hawaii State GE/TA Tax and are based on Standard Occupancy.
  • A 3-night deposit is required at time of booking. (Check deposits within 7 days of booking. All payments must be in US Dollars.)
  • Guest is responsible for the effects of changes in exchange rate and all fees. Refunds will not be issued due to exchange rate changes.
  • Full prepayment is due 60 days prior to arrival (90 days for Christmas/New Year’s bookings, 120 days for stays of 28+ nights).  Your final payment will be automatically charged to the credit card on file on the appropriate due date unless auto-charge is declined.
  • All reservations are subject to a Guest Service Fee which includes WiFi (when available), parking, local phone calls, applicable property fees and applicable cleaning costs.
  • Applicable cleaning fees will be added for stays less than 5 nights.
  • An Early Check In or Late Check-Out may be available at 50% of non-discounted daily rate.
  • Christmas/New Year’s reservations are not subject to normal discounts and minimum nights are required based on unit size. A 10 night minimum is required on 1 bedroom units and a 14 night minimum is required on 2 and 3 bedroom units.
  • Long-Stay Reservations: Any stay 28 nights or longer requires a deposit equaled to 25% of the total value of the reservation. Final prepayment is due 120 days prior to arrival.
  • Cancellation Policy: A fee of 10% of the gross rent or $200, whichever is greater, will be assessed for cancellations received 60+ days prior to arrival (90+ days for Christmas/New Year’s, 120+ days for Long-Stay). For cancellations received within 60 days of arrival (90 days for Christmas/New Year’s bookings, 120 days for stays of 28+ nights) or after arrival date, payments will be retained. If the space can be re-rented, a pro-rata refund will be issued for reservations paid in full.
  • Approved refunds will be remitted via check only and mailed to t he address on file.
  • Standard Occupancy is the base number of persons allowed per dwelling unit based on standard bedding and restrictions. 1-Bedroom (2 people), 2-Bedroom (4 people), 3-Bedroom (6 people). Additional person(s) charge of $20 plus tax per person per night above standard occupancy using standard bedding to a maximum occupancy of: 1-Bedroom (4 people), 2-Bedroom (6 people), and 3-Bedroom (8 people). Children 12 and under are free (extra person fee does not apply), but are counted towards maximum occupancy.
  • Accidental Property Damage Waiver: Accidental Property Damage Waiver affords protection to guests for accidental breakage or damage to the individual rental home up to a maximum of $1000. Damage must be reported by the guest to the Ali’i Resorts office prior to departure. Damage not reported by guests will not be covered by Accidental Property Damage Waiver and the guest will be responsible for any damages incurred. Cost is $40 + tax and is non-refundable. This waiver protection is added to the rent unless guest opt-out/decline protection in writing on Rental Agreement. If you choose to deny the damage waiver, you will be charged a refundable $400 cash security deposit.
  • Guest is responsible for all phone charges exceeding local standard service.
  • All guests are required to complete the registration form within 24 hours of arrival with Ali’i Resorts and, if required, register with the property. Failure to complete the registration form may result in immediate eviction.
  • All guests are required to abide by the Rules of the vacation rental property.
  • Owner and /or Ali’i Resorts and /or hired vendors of Owner/Alii Resorts may enter property with 24-hour notice to tenants occupying unit (except during scheduled cleanings and emergencies) to perform necessary repairs or maintenance, inspect unit or show unit, if necessary.
  • Ali’i Resorts, LLC reserves the right to change your condominium accommodation due to repairs, condo owner use and acts of God. If this should happen, Ali’i Resorts, LLC will make efforts to provide you with another condominium of equal or greater value at the same rate you were paying, or refund the difference for a lower rate condominium, or allow cancellation of your reservation without a cancellation penalty.
  • Guests and other parties involved with the reservation, including but not limited to, travel agents or online travel agents, hereby agree to verify all reservation details including, but not limited to, the accuracy of the rate, applicable fees, condominium complex, and condominium unit number specified in the reservation confirmation.  Ali’i Resorts is not responsible for any third party’s failure to display or provide current photos of the property.  The most current photos are located at www.AliiResorts.com
  • Ali’i Resorts is not responsible for the retrieval and return of lost and found items.
