The property features an immaculately kept lawn area, a shuffleboard court, an onsite restaurant (Monsoon India), a swimming pool and two barbecue areas. It sits next to the historic 16th century royal fish pond of Kalepolepo. The property is an excellent location for stunning sunsets, swimming, romantic beach strolling, and seasonal whale watching. The unit interiors include fully equipped kitchens, cable television, free local phone service, private lanais and luxury linens supplied directly by Ali'i Resorts.

What a Wonderful Trip and Home to Stay In!!!

I almost hate telling you how great this spot is to stay in because I don't want it to get so popular that we can't book it several times a year! Not only is it spacious, overlooks the ocean, has everything you need, but sits centrally for all kinds of activities. We traveled with our adult children and an elderly parent. This spot was perfect for the kids (20's & 30's) to paddle board (call the company, they deliver), my husband to surf, mom to lay by the pool, and dad (in a wheelchair) to sit on the balcony to watch the whales and dolphins! All six of us sat around the table on the deck every night to share dinner when we weren't viewing the sunset from the top floor BBQing steaks and burgers! The owners have thought of every need and have it available to use. We will be back to this spot whenever our travels bring us to Maui! Mahalo! The Vincents.

Ideally located and just as pictured.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Menehune Shores. Unit 515 had a great view and it was just as pictured. We liked the beach location and could not have asked for a better one. This unit is well maintained and has everything needed. The kitchen is well equipped with all the necessary items, just bring your food. We used the BBQ on the roof, what an amazing view from there. The only complaint is the kitchen is a little tight. A counter depth refrigerator would be better for opening up this smallish kitchen. All in all I would rent this unit again.

Very comfortable, wonderful views, great location!

Checking in, we (4 single women) were pleasantly surprised that the photos on the listing portrayed this condo perfectly. What we couldn't have imagined from the photos was the spectacular view (including whales, rainbows, long boats, and board sailers) and how well-equipped and quiet the condo was. There was nothing lacking in the kitchen for any kind of cooking, but we were also located close to several restaurants we frequented: Coconuts, Moose McGillicuddy's, Cafe O'Lei, to name a few. Another one by Long's was completely gluten-free. We found Kihei to be centrally located for trips to Lahaina, Paia, Kula and Wailea. The beaches surrounding us were great for walking and cavorting in the waves, but many more were within a short drive. The condo provided beach towels, coolers and beach chairs. We had been on the NCL cruise, enjoying 2 days on Maui already, but found so much more to do there. Having wi-fi helped with making our plans. Tips: Don't rent a big car because parking spaces everywhere are narrow. Book your Old Lahaina Luau and your Pacific Whale Foundation Ultimate Whale Watch months before you leave home. Find out how big the servings are at Coconuts before you order!! Bottom line: We would definitely go back to this condo. It exceeded our expectations!

Exceeded our Expectations!

Our family of six adults checked into Room 515 at Menehune Shores on December 14 for a nine night stay. From the initial contact months ago via email to the personal greeting as we knocked on the door we could not have asked for a better experience. The beautiful suite was spotlessly clean and surpassed our expectations with luxurious towels and bedding, starter items including dish soap and laundry soap, every kitchen utensil and appliance you could ask for, beach towels and chairs and even binoculars so that we could watch the whales breaching off our lanai. The attentiveness of the staff at Ali Resorts was greatly appreciated, they even touched based to ensure our vacation was perfect and were also available for our questions at any time. The views are spectacular. The location is ideal. The condo was nicely appointed and everything in good working order. The only downside was the Bbqs and the BBQ area shuts down at 9:00 pm sharp. This is way too early and we had to rush our meals. Some people like to take their time with dinner.

Gorgeous view!

Our group of 5 women & 3 children had a great time in unit 515 of Menehune Shores. The unit was spacious, well equipped & ocean front. We enjoyed the sunsets from our balcony, the pool, as well as walks on the beach.

Why did we ever leave!

Using a property management service "Alii Resorts" was the best decision we ever made. Had a problem with the coffee maker, they showed up that afternoon with a new one. Doorstop came off the front door, they fixed it within hours. We didn't have to do any laundry before leaving or clean up the condo. Ending the vacay without 3 hours of cleaning. The condo was well equipped and comfortable. 6 beach chairs, 2 coolers and beach towels available. Comfy beds and couches. The views from the lanai breathtaking. The lawns manicured and well kept. The beach to the left a bit rocky but with a pair of shoes offered a nice long stroll. Located close the to the shopping centre and to all other places you wish to visit. The locals who live there are very pleasant to chat with while you're bbqing on the roof. Never used the pool as we were always out snorkeling at various beaches. Why oh why did we ever leave??

Super Views.

The service we received from ali'i Resorts was top notch. This condo was very clean and supplied extremely well. We were surprised to learn that this condo is now a three bedroom. We always enjoy cooking our own food and eating in the open air. The kitchen was well supplied and the appliances were very nice. Love the view and walking on the beach. This was perfect.

Perfect location

Not having been to Maui, I did all of the arrangements for the trip on the internet and was not disappointed! Our Condo was perfect. It was just as the pictures and description indicated, very clean and with all of the extras we had hoped for. The two main bedrooms were on the ocean side so that we could hear the surf outside the window all night. The lanai was perfect with access from both bedrooms as well as the living room. Location of the complex was perfect since we wanted to travel the island and it was easy to get to everywhere. Only drawback was the beach was not good for swimming but all the great beaches were a short distance. Will recommend this unit without hesitation. Rental agency was great.

We will be back, wonderful stay.

#515 at Menehune shores is a fantastic renovated condo with lovely decor and all the amenities you need. The view can not be beat (it is in the "500 block" which is the section directly facing the ocean with beautiful panoramic views.)There is a master bedroom with a large bed, ensuite and aC. There is also a second bedroom with a double bed, and a third bedroom with 2 twins and a/C. The kitchen is fully equipped, and every time I wondered, "do they have a ...?" they always had what I needed. On the night when we had no plans, we enjoyed having NetFlix available in the condo. Ali'i Resorts, the property management company had great service with a rep meeting us at the condo to check us in and give us a tour and some insider tips. Also when our coffee maker malfunctioned, the ali'i team had another one to us within a couple of hours. Very attentive and friendly service. There are several beaches adjacent. The one right in front is a restored fish pond, very shallow and safe for kids, but you can still see tropical fish and coral at the outer edges if you want to snorkel. Then on either side there are two more beaches, one of which is great for slightly older kids who like body surfing. 🙂 We enjoyed watching the sea turtles every day. The pool is adequate but honestly we didn't spend much time there because why spend time at the pool when the ocean is right in front of you?! The Indian restaurant in the building is expensive, but really delicious. We won't hesitate to book this condo again, and can't wait until our next trip.

Menehune Shores #515 was the perfect place to come back to after a fun day in the Maui sun. The condo was well equipped with all of the comforts of home, including a very much needed aC unit. Sunsets were amazing from the lanai and from the roof top, where we did some grilling. We will definitely be back to this unit.
  • Check-in time is 3:00pm / Check-out time is 11:00am.
  • Confirmed reservations will receive a letter of confirmation with a reservation number.
  • All units are non-smoking and pets are not permitted.
  • Rates are subject to change.
  • All rates are subject to 13.42% Hawaii State GE/TA Tax and are based on Standard Occupancy.
  • A 3-night deposit is required at time of booking. (Check deposits within 7 days of booking. All payments must be in US Dollars.)
  • Guest is responsible for the effects of changes in exchange rate and all fees. Refunds will not be issued due to exchange rate changes.
  • Full prepayment is due 60 days prior to arrival (90 days for Christmas/New Year’s bookings, 120 days for stays of 28+ nights).  Your final payment will be automatically charged to the credit card on file on the appropriate due date unless auto-charge is declined.
  • All reservations are subject to a Guest Service Fee which includes WiFi (when available), parking, local phone calls, applicable property fees and applicable cleaning costs.
  • Applicable cleaning fees will be added for stays less than 5 nights.
  • An Early Check In or Late Check-Out may be available at 50% of non-discounted daily rate.
  • Christmas/New Year’s reservations are not subject to normal discounts and minimum nights are required based on unit size. A 10 night minimum is required on 1 bedroom units and a 14 night minimum is required on 2 and 3 bedroom units.
  • Long-Stay Reservations: Any stay 28 nights or longer requires a deposit equaled to 25% of the total value of the reservation. Final prepayment is due 120 days prior to arrival.
  • Cancellation Policy: A fee of 10% of the gross rent or $200, whichever is greater, will be assessed for cancellations received 60+ days prior to arrival (90+ days for Christmas/New Year’s, 120+ days for Long-Stay). For cancellations received within 60 days of arrival (90 days for Christmas/New Year’s bookings, 120 days for stays of 28+ nights) or after arrival date, payments will be retained. If the space can be re-rented, a pro-rata refund will be issued for reservations paid in full.
  • Approved refunds will be remitted via check only and mailed to t he address on file.
  • Standard Occupancy is the base number of persons allowed per dwelling unit based on standard bedding and restrictions. 1-Bedroom (2 people), 2-Bedroom (4 people), 3-Bedroom (6 people). Additional person(s) charge of $20 plus tax per person per night above standard occupancy using standard bedding to a maximum occupancy of: 1-Bedroom (4 people), 2-Bedroom (6 people), and 3-Bedroom (8 people). Children 12 and under are free (extra person fee does not apply), but are counted towards maximum occupancy.
  • Accidental Property Damage Waiver: Accidental Property Damage Waiver affords protection to guests for accidental breakage or damage to the individual rental home up to a maximum of $1000. Damage must be reported by the guest to the Ali’i Resorts office prior to departure. Damage not reported by guests will not be covered by Accidental Property Damage Waiver and the guest will be responsible for any damages incurred. Cost is $40 + tax and is non-refundable. This waiver protection is added to the rent unless guest opt-out/decline protection in writing on Rental Agreement. If you choose to deny the damage waiver, you will be charged a refundable $400 cash security deposit.
  • Guest is responsible for all phone charges exceeding local standard service.
  • All guests are required to complete the registration form within 24 hours of arrival with Ali’i Resorts and, if required, register with the property. Failure to complete the registration form may result in immediate eviction.
  • All guests are required to abide by the Rules of the vacation rental property.
  • Owner and /or Ali’i Resorts and /or hired vendors of Owner/Alii Resorts may enter property with 24-hour notice to tenants occupying unit (except during scheduled cleanings and emergencies) to perform necessary repairs or maintenance, inspect unit or show unit, if necessary.
  • Ali’i Resorts, LLC reserves the right to change your condominium accommodation due to repairs, condo owner use and acts of God. If this should happen, Ali’i Resorts, LLC will make efforts to provide you with another condominium of equal or greater value at the same rate you were paying, or refund the difference for a lower rate condominium, or allow cancellation of your reservation without a cancellation penalty.
