Wailea Elua Village is an exclusive beachfront property located in the heart of the resort community of Wailea. This relaxing low-density property consists of two-story buildings terraced over twenty-four acres of immaculate tropical landscaping. Beautiful Ulua Beach fronting the property is a well-known snorkeling destination and is great for watching dramatic sunsets, swimming, sunning and whale watching in the winter months. Wailea Elua Village is a gated air-conditioned property that includes two swimming pools, Jacuzzi, beachfront pavilion with barbeques, pickleball/paddle tennis court and free private parking. The spacious interiors include fully equipped kitchens, washers & dryers, cable television, free local and long distance phone service, private lanais and luxury linens supplied directly by Ali’i Resorts. Housekeeping services are included at this resort property. Due to COVID-19 and for your safety, the complimentary services have been substituted with a linen and amenity exchange every 3 days. Housekeeping will not enter occupied rentals and the exchange drop will be placed outside the entry door in protective bagging.

A Note from the Owner:  Wailea Elua Village #801 is located in the center of the Elua Village just across from the small pool and Jacuzzi area and just steps to the paddle court.  Enjoy ocean views as well as secluded garden views from this quiet ground floor, two-bedroom, two-bath unit. The lanai provides convenient walk-out access to the property. This unit has recently been completely renovated with enhanced lighting inside and out & travertine marble, an enlarged kitchen featuring burnished maple cabinets, granite counter tops, and all new appliances.  Both baths have been redone in travertine marble as well as custom tile accented by Grohe bath and sink faucets. Guests enjoy complimentary high speed internet service.

Ali’i Resorts Reservation Policy

Check-In / Check-Out Times

  • Check-in time is 4:00 PM / Check-out time is 10:00 AM
  • Valid identification and matching valid accepted credit card required at the time of check-in.
  • All guests are required to complete the registration form within 24 hours of arrival with Ali’i Resorts, LLC and, if required, register with the property. Failure to complete the registration form may result in access code deactivation and/or immediate eviction.


  • Confirmed reservations will receive a letter of confirmation with a reservation number after the signing of the E-signature document.
  • Rates are subject to change.
  • All rates are subject to 14.42% Hawaii State GE/TA Tax as required by law and are based on Standard Occupancy.
  • A 3-night deposit is required at the time of booking for reservations under 28 nights. (Check deposits within 7 days of booking. All payments must be in US dollars.)
  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and AMEX credit card payments.
  • Payments made by check/ACH will receive a 2% discount off the gross rent of the reservation (Deposit AND Final Payments must be made by check/ACH to receive the discount). All ACH payments will require a signed authorization form before your reservation is confirmed.
  • Check payments must be received within 7 days of the date of booking. All check payments must be in US dollars.
  • Long Stay Reservations: Any stay 28 nights or longer requires a deposit equal to 25% of the total value of the reservation.
  • Full prepayment is due 60 days prior to arrival (90 days for Christmas/New Year’s bookings, 120 days for stays of 28+ nights). Your final payment will be automatically charged to the credit card on file on the appropriate due date unless auto-charge is declined.
  • All reservations are subject to a Guest Service Fee that may include but are not limited to applicable cleaning and resort fees.
  • Additional cleaning fees will be added for stays less than 5 nights, when applicable.

Property Damage

  • Accidental Property Damage Waiver: Accidental Property Damage Waiver affords protection to guests for accidental reported breakage or damage to the individual rental home up to a maximum of $1000. Damage must be reported by the guest to the Ali’i Resorts office prior to departure. Damage not reported by guests will not be covered by Accidental Property Damage Waiver and the guest will be responsible for any damages incurred. Cost is $40.00 + tax and is non-refundable. This waiver protection is added to the total reservation cost unless guests opt-out/decline protection in writing on Rental Agreement. If you choose to deny the damage waiver, you will be charged a refundable $400 cash security deposit.

Cancellation and Changes

  • A fee of 10% of the gross rent or $200, whichever is greater, will be assessed for cancellations received 60+ days prior to arrival (90+ days for Christmas/New Year’s, 120+ days for LongStay). For cancellations received within 60 days of arrival (90 days for Christmas/New Year’s bookings, 120 days for stays of 28+ nights) or after arrival date. No refund is available unless space can be rerented. If space can be re-rented, a pro-rata refund will be issued for reservations paid in full. Cancellations are subject to a processing/handling fee.
  • Approved refunds will be remitted via check only and mailed to the address on file.
  • Guest is responsible for the effects of changes in the exchange rate and all fees. Refunds will not be issued due to exchange rate changes.

COVID-19 Exposure

  • An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. By visiting the island of Maui, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

Early Check-In or Late Check-Out

  • An Early Check-In or Late Check-Out may be available at 50% of the non-discounted daily rate on participating condos.


  • Christmas/New Year’s reservations are not subject to normal discounts and minimum nights are required based on unit size. A 10- night minimum is required on 1-bedroom units and a 14-night minimum is required on 2- and 3-bedroom units.

Rental Occupancy

  • Standard Occupancy is the base number of persons allowed per dwelling unit based on standard bedding and restrictions. 1-Bedroom (2 people), 2-Bedroom (4 people), 3-Bedroom (6 people).
  • Additional person(s) charge(s) of $20 plus tax per-person, per-night above standard occupancy using standard bedding to a maximum occupancy of 1-Bedroom (4 people), 2-Bedroom (6 people), and 3-Bedroom (8 people).
  • Children 12 and under are free (extra person fee does not apply) but are counted towards maximum occupancy.
  • All units are non-smoking. Pets are not permitted.
  • Ali’i Resorts, LLC is not responsible for the retrieval and return of lost and found items. Shipping/handling fees apply for mailing back lost and found items. A minimum charge of $40 plus the cost of shipping applies.
  • Guest is responsible for all phone charges exceeding local standard service and/or additional ordered cable charges.
  • Ali’i Resorts, LLC is not responsible for childproofing accommodations.
  • Ali’i Resorts, LLC will communicate with guests as Ali’i Resorts is notified of disruptions to the tenant’s enjoyment due to construction projects, noise at neighboring properties, or interruption in available amenities. Properties are treated professionally for insect control. Additional measures are available upon request. Appliances and electronics which include but are not limited to: air conditioning units, TV’s, DVD players, water heaters, washer/dryers, internet, and
    phone service are known to be in operation upon arrival unless the guest is notified otherwise. The guest accepts that unexpected impacts happen due to construction projects, noise at neighboring properties, interruption in available amenities, insects, failed appliances/electronics, interruptions in utilities including but not limited to the internet may occur and guest agrees to hold Ali’i Resorts/Owner harmless for such incidents. Ali’i Resorts, LLC agrees
    to make good faith efforts to resolve the reported problem as quickly as possible.
  • Owner and /or Ali’i Resorts, LLC, and /or hired vendors of Owner/Alii Resorts, LLC may enter property with 24-hour notice to tenants occupying unit (except during scheduled cleanings and emergencies) to perform necessary repairs or maintenance, inspect unit or show unit, if necessary.
  • Ali’i Resorts, LLC reserves the right to change guest condominium/home accommodation. In most cases, this is due to repairs, condo owner use, and/or acts of God. If this should happen, Ali’i Resorts, LLC will make good faith efforts to provide you with another condominium/home of equal or greater value at the same
    rate you were paying, or refund the difference for a lower rate condominium/home, or allow cancellation of guest’s reservation without a cancellation penalty.
  • Guests and other parties involved with the reservation, including but not limited to, travel agents or online travel agents, hereby agree to verify all reservation details including, but not limited to, the accuracy of the rate, applicable fees, condominium complex, and condominium unit number specified in the reservation confirmation.
  • Ali’i Resorts, LLC is not responsible for any third party’s failure to display or provide current photos of the property or for variation in 3rd party posted rates. All 3rd parties are advised to and are responsible for posting accurate rates. Alii Resorts, LLC does not control, nor is responsible for any 3rd party booking site fees. Guest & Ali’i Resorts Agreement

  • Guests agree that any disagreements pertaining to this reservation policy will first be attempted to be resolved by good faith negations. Guests and Alii Resorts, LLC agree that if a dispute has not been successfully resolved within 30 days, the matter will be submitted to mediation for resolution in Maui, Hawaii prior to any litigation and any litigation pertaining to this reservation policy will take place exclusively in courts located in Maui County, Hawaii.
  • This reservation policy represents the entire Agreement of the guests and Alii Resorts, LLC, and may be modified only in writing. It will be governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii and will be binding on a successor, assigns, or devisees. If any provision in this reservation policy is unenforceable, the remaining provisions are valid and enforceable and apply to all occupants within the accommodation.

First Class Condos

We stayed in the #801 condo in April 2016. In general, the Wailea Elua Village is a unique site. It is extremely well maintained, the surrounding park is beautiful, we had the impression to stay in a botanical garden. And it is located directly at one of the most exclusive beaches of Maui. So we enjoyed to go swimming in the Pacific and then went back a few steps to the private greens of Wailea Elua with sun loungers and parasols under palm trees. It also has a very nice pool, our son spent days there, as the waves sometimes were to scary for him. The condos are all owned by individuals, mostly retirees from the North American mainland. As a tourist, you rent a condo from these individuals, who use local agencies for the rental management. The condo itself was also excellent, very spacious, with two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, we had a great ocean view from the terrace. What really impressed us was the fact that the condo had a perfect system of natural air conditioning - there are ventilation windows everywhere, and it allows the cooler air from the gardens to stream, so we did not had to use the electric AC. In total (although not being brand new), the condo was in a perfect shape, everything worked, there was nothing to complain about. We had booked our condo through Ali'i Resorts, they also provided the daily service. We had a towel exchange and garbage pickup service every day, and a complete cleaning and bedsheets exchange every 3rd day. The service was excellent - very friendly and dedicated to provide a great customer experience. When the gas container of the outdoor barbecue went empty, it was replaced immediately. They are always available and we had the feeling that they cared about us - although they obviously have a large number of condos to manage. Really great service! So, for us (family with a kid) it was a wonderful experience to stay in the Wailea Elua Village! However, our feeling is that this location might not be suitable for all type of tourists. This is due to the fact that the owners of the village are not hotel hosts - they actually live there. And the owners have set very strict rules for the complete village. So in general, it is very quite there - which we enjoyed very much, but it can create problems with tourists who might plan to have barbecue parties on their terraces, especially when staying as a larger group.

Excellent condo, Excellent resort

This was a fantastic stay. The accommodation was booked through mauivacationadvisors.com. The agency represents many properties. They were a huge help, offering suggestions regarding location, activities, and restaurants. They showed care from beginning, during and following our stay. This condo resort was great (Elua Village), quiet, on a calm, snorkel beach, walking distance to shops and restaurants, and all the comforts of home with housekeeping. The property was immaculate, tennis, pools and yard was well tended to. the property managers were responsive and accommodating with anything we asked. Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay immensely

We have stayed at the Wailea Elua for the past three years. We first rented a one-bedroom for two weeks,then a two-bedroom/two bath for three weeks for the next two years. The units were nicely decorated and had ocean views. Daily maid service was great. The grounds are beautiful and the location of the complex on the beach can't be beaten. You can spend time one the beach or by one of the two pools. The larger pool overlooks the ocean/beach and is very relaxing, with all the lounge chairs and umbrellas. An ali'i Resort representative meet us on arrival and helped us settle in. Can't say enough good things about this place or the mangagement.

Great week relaxing in comfort and watching the sunset over the

This is the second time we have relied on ali'i Resorts to find us the perfect rental for our annual Thanksgiving trip to Maui. Ali'i staff helped me pick this Unit, communicated with me throughout the months, greeted us warmly and the Unit was spotless and comfortable. We were easy walking distance to the beach and the putting green and tennis courts were across from our Unit. The kitchen and bathrooms had been updated and the beds and living room furniture were very comfortable. The lanai was generous and afforded a great view of the sunset. We will definitely be back next year.

My Maui Paradise

This is the third time we stayed at Wailea Elua #801. It is like living in your own botanical garden. The views are awesome. The snorkeling is great. The property and condo are well-maintained. If you never wanted to drive you wouldn't have to as hotel restaurants and the mall are within walking distance. I like everything about this area. Ali'i Resorts is great to work with!

Simply perfect!

Everything about our stay here was wonderful. The property was very clean and certainly spacious. Very well stocked with all the essentials needed for our stay. The view was spectacular - sitting out on the lanai in the am having coffee or watching the sunset was wonderful. Having your own grill is certainly a plus here as most places have one for the buildings to share. I would certainly recommend this unit without hesitation. The stretch of beach it is on is very nice as well. Not a huge beach but very nice. Good section for snorkeling. The pool area was also very nice - was never crowded. We had been to Maui one other time and stayed in the Kaanapali area. Wailea doesn't have a town in the same sense as Lahaina but that was OK. Lots of smaller "strip" mall type settings for restaurants and shopping. But, we found plenty of great restaurants while we were there (enjoyed Coconuts fish tacos in particular! Also a great meal at Cafe O'Lei).

Fun in Wailea

The Wailea area is the best spot to be in Maui during December. We had fantastic weather, especially since our other option was staying in Kaanapali, where the weather wasn't as nice in late December.

One after another beautiful day in paradise ...

Loved being greeted by Pat upon our arrival. She's awesome. We also really appreciated having daily maid service (especially since we had three kids with us). The last time we visited Maui we stayed at Wailea Ekahi and we didn't have maid service at all. The condo/unit was very nice and very comfortable. Plenty of room for the six of us. The only warning I'll give is that they advertised that the sofa in the living room was a sofa bed but it's not. Also, there are no window coverings on one of the windows in the living/dining area, which we found to be a little strange. We loved the location and really appreciated the fact that we had a very short walk to the beach every day. Very nice not to have to get into the car and drive to the beach. Also, the kids loved the "big pool". The "little pool" was too small and too warm for them. The spa at the "little pool" was out of order the entire time we were there but that didn't bother me because kids aren't supposed to use the spa at all. I liked the fact that it's a gated community and the security staff was amazing. They always seemed to be around checking things out to make sure nothing was amiss. We had a great experience and wouldn't hesitate for a moment recommending this location/unit to our friends. Thanks, Alii Resorts!!!

Wailea Elua--the best on Maui

Wailea Elua #801 condo was spacious, well-maintained, with modern furniture and well-equiped kitchen. The location was the incredible. Ocean views from condo, walk to the beach, 2 pools, one with pavilion overlooking the Pacific ocean!! The grounds were maticulously maintained by expert gardeners. Beautiful. We are not rich folks...Wailea Elua #801 was affordable considering the location, accomodations, and service...every convenience and more than 5-star resorts next door to us. The resort is gated with 24 hr. security--private. The only drawback were the mattresses in both bedrooms--they were uncomfortable, not pillowtop. We will recommend this resort to others without hesitation. Management & staff exceeded our expectations--professional with a focus on excellent customer service. Daily housekeeping, which was included in the cost of rental added to the value of our vacation experience. We rented the condo for 15 days, housekeeping was essential and very much appreciated. Wailea is the best location on Maui. Wailea Elua, although it is not a new resort, is 5-star. We have stayed at other high-end resorts in Lahaina and on the north shore. September is off-season thus more affordable. The weather was perfect with a day or two of overcast in morning with light rain showers. Absolutely beautiful. We don't travel to Hawaii all that often with busy work schedules at home. So, we demand the best for our money. We were not disappointed.

Our stay was great!

We stayed about a block from the beach, a short comfortable 5 minute walk. The grounds were immaculate. The condo was cleaned daily, over and above what we expected. The area as a whole was very quiet, the pool area is well maintained and out of sight except to guests. Some guests are permanent residents, all very friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or to recommend it to families. Nightlife for the younger set is a short 15-20 minute walk on the beachwalk.

Excellent location, expensive but definitely worth it. Would rather stay here than in the Four Seasons down the beach.

Wailea elua villages is a tropical beauty with lots of amenities

Our stay in 801 was a wonderful experience. We traveled there with 3 other couples renting a total of 3 condos. We enjoyed our trip very much.

We loved 801 and are returning for the 3rd time to that condo. The service from ali'i is excellent, if we needed anything ,it was done promptly without question. The location of the condo 801 is right in the middle of all the amenties, pool,beach and paddle tennis court, fitness center. One couldn't ask for a better spot. We have been coming to EluaVillage for more than 10 years and we wouldn't go anywhere else. We love it there.
