The Ali’i Resorts AlohaSafeStay program was created with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and leading experts in their respective fields to enhance our existing methods and focus on cleanliness throughout your entire stay.

At Ali’i Resorts, we have always taken great pride in our highly personalized approach to hospitality and our attention to detail and service. We have now applied this same level of commitment to our already stringent health and safety protocols so we meet or exceed the highest standards and certifications.

A Cleaner Safer Stay from Check-In to Check-Out

We have adjusted our check-in to 4 p.m. and check-out to 10 a.m. to allow more time to clean and sanitize each rental.

Changes to Our Housekeeping Services

If you have a stay that qualifies for housekeeping services, note that this has been replaced with a no-contact service for you and our team’s health and safety. Standard linens, towels and amenities are dropped off on the day of typically scheduled services. A member of our team will be by each day to drop off the standard items and pick up any dirty linens you have bagged for pick up at the front door. If you would like to request to have no drop-off/pick-up service, just place the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the front door or notify our office at  808-879-6284.

How We Clean Your Maui Vacation Rental

Our housekeeping vacation home protocol begins with our team removing all used items from the room such as linens and towels. Next, the team performs a full cleaning of the room and bathroom including floor cleaning, vacuuming all carpet, and wiping down all surfaces with products graded by the EPA for use against COVID-19 and other viral pathogens.

Then, using trusted cleaning products, we do an additional disinfecting step for several surfaces in the room – including all switches and electronic controls, handles and knobs, major bathroom surfaces and the remote control. Our final step is using electrostatic sprayers to disinfect the surfaces and objects of each rental with recommended dwell times.

After each room is thoroughly cleaned, we replace the towels and make up the bed with freshly laundered linens. Upon your arrival, you’ll have complete peace of mind that the room is clean and ready for your stay.

Contactless Aloha Greets 

For the safety and health of guests, owners, and staff our Aloha Greet has been temporarily replaced with a contactless check-in experience.  Registration forms will be completed digitally and virtual greet via video call will be available for check-ins during our office hours.  Late night arrivals will have this option available the next day.

Continued Staff Education

All staff and team members receive ongoing cleaning, disinfecting, and safety training and information.  We continue to enhance operating protocols as new information comes to light.  The staff of Ali’i Resorts are provided with and instructed on the proper use of face masks, gloves, and all other necessary safety equipment with a continued emphasis on proper hand washing protocols (minimum 20 seconds) as well as avoiding touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.  Gloves are to be changed and properly discarded between each property.  Social distancing remains a focus for all team members to do our part with keeping others and ourselves safe.
