Chinese Heritage Festival in Lahaina @ Wo Hing Museum | Lahaina | Hawaii | United States

Lahaina celebrates the town’s enduring Chinese heritage and also honors the achievements of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, known as The Father of Modern China, during this annual festival at Wo Hing Museum and Cookhouse on Front Street.

Enjoy a film tribute and historical displays depicting the Sun family connection from Maui to China (available all day).

In the evening, try your hand at cultural art activities like calligraphy, knot tying and printmaking. Attend presentations in the old Cookhouse on the significance of Dr. Sun’s work and Lahaina’s Chinese roots during the plantation era. Sample Cantonese food and Chinese teas in the garden.

FREE admission.
