From 9/2/2019-10/10/2019 the Kamaole Nalu will be replacing the elevator on property.  Work will be Sunday-Saturday 7:30AM-10PM.  During this time there will be no elevator to use. Noise and Equipment are to be expected on property.

Reservation Policy

  • Check-in time is 3:00pm / Check-out time is 11:00am.
  • Valid identification and matching valid accepted credit card required at the time of check-in.
  • Confirmed reservations will receive a letter of confirmation with a reservation number.
  • All units are non-smoking and pets are not permitted.
  • Rates are subject to change.
  • All rates are subject to 14.42% Hawaii State GE/TA Tax and are based on Standard Occupancy.
  • A 3-night deposit is required at time of booking for reservations under 28 nights. (Check deposits within 7 days of booking. All payments must be in US Dollars.) A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking for reservations of 28 or more nights. Final payment for 28+ night stays is due 120 days before arrival.
  • Additional cleaning fees will be added for stays less than 5 nights, when applicable.
  • Guest is responsible for the effects of changes in exchange rate and all fees. Refunds will not be issued due to exchange rate changes.
  • Full prepayment is due 60 days prior to arrival (90 days for Christmas/New Year’s bookings, 120 days for stays of 28+ nights). Your final payment will be automatically charged to the credit card on file on the appropriate due date unless auto-charge is declined.
  • All reservations are subject to a Guest Service Fee which includes WiFi (when available), parking, local phone calls, applicable property fees and applicable cleaning costs.
  • An Early Check In or Late Check-Out may be available at 50% of non-discounted daily rate.
  • Christmas/New Year’s reservations are not subject to normal discounts and minimum nights are required based on unit size. A 10 night minimum is required on 1 bedroom units and a 14 night minimum is required on 2 and 3 bedroom units.
  • Long-Stay Reservations: Any stay 28 nights or longer requires a deposit equaled to 25% of the total value of the reservation. Final prepayment is due 120 days prior to arrival.
  • Cancellation Policy: A fee of 10% of the gross rent or $200, whichever is greater, will be assessed for cancellations received 60+ days prior to arrival (90+ days for Christmas/New Year’s, 120+ days for Long-Stay). For cancellations received within 60 days of arrival (90 days for Christmas/New Year’s bookings, 120 days for stays of 28+ nights) or after arrival date, payments will be retained. If the space can be re-rented, a pro-rata refund will be issued for reservations paid in full.
  • Approved refunds will be remitted via check only and mailed to the address on file.
  • Standard Occupancy is the base number of persons allowed per dwelling unit based on standard bedding and restrictions. 1-Bedroom (2 people), 2-Bedroom (4 people), 3-Bedroom (6 people). Additional person(s) charge of $20 plus tax per person per night above standard occupancy using standard bedding to a maximum occupancy of: 1-Bedroom (4 people), 2-Bedroom (6 people), and 3-Bedroom (8 people). Children 12 and under are free (extra person fee does not apply), but are counted towards maximum occupancy.
  • Ali’i Resorts, LLC is not responsible for childproofing accommodations.
  • Accidental Property Damage Waiver: Accidental Property Damage Waiver affords protection to guests for accidental breakage or damage to the individual rental home up to a maximum of $1000. Damage must be reported by the guest to the Ali’i Resorts office prior to departure. Damage not reported by guests will not be covered by Accidental Property Damage Waiver and the guest will be responsible for any damages incurred. Cost is $40 + tax and is non-refundable. This waiver protection is added to the rent unless guests optout/decline protection in writing on Rental Agreement. If you choose to deny the damage waiver, you will be charged a refundable $400 cash security deposit.
  • Ali’i Resorts, LLC is not responsible for the retrieval and return of lost and found items.
  • Guest is responsible for all phone charges exceeding local standard service and/or additional ordered cable charges.
  • All guests are required to complete the registration form within 24 hours of arrival with Ali’i Resorts, LLC and, if required, register with the property. Failure to complete the registration form may result in immediate eviction.
  • Owner and /or Ali’i Resorts, LLC and /or hired vendors of Owner/Alii Resorts, LLC may enter property with 24-hour notice to tenants occupying unit (except during scheduled cleanings and emergencies) to perform necessary repairs or maintenance, inspect unit or show unit, if necessary.
  • Ali’i Resorts, LLC reserves the right to change your condominium accommodation due to repairs, condo owner use and acts of God. If this should happen, Ali’i Resorts, LLC will make efforts to provide you with another condominium of equal or greater value at the same rate you were paying, or refund the difference for a lower rate condominium, or allow cancellation of your reservation without a cancellation penalty.
  • Guests and other parties involved with the reservation, including but not limited to, travel agents or online travel agents, hereby agree to verify all reservation details including, but not limited to, the accuracy of the rate, applicable fees, condominium complex, and condominium unit number specified in the reservation confirmation. Ali’i Resorts, LLC is not responsible for any third party’s failure to display or provide current photos of the property or for variation in 3rd party posted rates. We had a great time. The owner has made lots of upgrades. We stayed for eight days in May of 16. The weather was great for the most part.

Perfect location for a family holiday.

This was our second time renting this unit mainly because for us, there is no better location. Our teenagers could walk the beach or to shops on their own. Pool right off our lanai, loungers just steps away, Bbq's, beach and snorkeling right out front. When we were outside and needed something, whether it be a drink, food, washroom or just a break from the sun, it's like simply stepping inside from your own backyard. It's nothing fancy, in fact, a little tired, but it's well stocked and comfortable. The onsite manager is friendly and helpful.

Fantastic location!!!

Condo offered all amenities needed. It was wonderful having a full kitchen. The best part is the location. We were able to walk out of our sliding glass door and just steps from the pool and a few more feet to the ocean. The beach access is wonderful and never too crowded. Perfect spot to watch the sunset. Plenty of restaurants and stores within walking distance. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Grounds are spotless and quiet.

Fabulous location right on the ocean and next to beautiful beach

Lovely condo with everything we needed right there. Main floor walk out to the pool and grassed area right on the ocean. Beautiful sunsets! Stores close, right across the street. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Condo clean and well decorated. It was a wonderful place to vacation. We'll be back!

Best location

This was our 3rd time in unit 105.Had no concerns or complaints.This visit. Although the floor looked clean my barefeet were black after only 2 hours of walking on it. I found a mop and washed the floor twice(a pail would have been nice)Noticeable dirty finger smudges on the microwave, fridge, cabinet door handles, oven door handle,and passage doors.Glass coffee table had noticeable rings and smudge marks. I wiped white marks and spots off the green cloth table chairs. The arm rests on the couch were sticky so they got wiped, also I wiped down the table chairs arms as well. The kitchen plastic garbage can had noticeable large brown spots on the outside. There were very noticeable shoe scuffs on the wall under the bar counter as well as on the walls in the second bedroom. The soap scum ring in the guest bedroom sink wasn't seen until I used the sink to rinse a wash cloth to wash my feet. I wiped down the front of the toilet tank because there was brown splash marks.The dryer wasn't drying our clothes. Checked the dryer vent. It was completely full, 1 1/2inches of packed lint. Hate to think of the amount of energy lost. Guess I'm just at fault for not checking the vent before turning on the dryer then checking the wet clothes after 45 minutes. We then did a thorough vaccuming of the dryer.I did phone ali'i management about my black feet who were great and sent a cleaning crew that afternoon who cleaned the floor and wiped down the wall below the counter, and anywhere else that I wanted cleaned.This is a great location. Saw whales,dolphins and turtles. Beach and pool outside your door. Beautiful Sunsets from your lanai.The sound of breaking waves. Close to two public beaches. Stores and restaurants across the street. Easy access to the island of Maui. Very friendly caretaker.Our Maui holiday was great! Always great weather in Kihei. Definitely will return.

Perfect location with ocean view. pool and close to beach.

Service received was first class, including the provision of handicapped washroom facilities prior to our arrival. Upon arrival a welcome basket awaited. Home was very clean, well kept and tastefully furnished. Location was ideally located with easy access to ocean, with wonderful ocean views and sunsets from the lanai. Barbecue facilities made meal prep very easy. All in all nothing to complain about. Perfect vacation in perfect location.

We have stayed at this location 5 times. We always have enjoyed this part of Maui. Easy to explore island from this central location. Is on a great beach.

we loved this spot!

10 steps to the pool, maybe 30 to the beach, great view of the ocean, so nice to have the kids in their own room with their own bathroom too! We loved Maui and we loved the Kamaole Nalu and would definitely stay there again! Service was good: we noticed on the first day that the blender didn't work and the knives were dull. We asked about it and the next day a new knife and blender showed up. I think that's pretty good service!

Kamaole Nalu #105

Staying on the ocean in Kihei is paradise, so that fact masked any issues. The office staff were very nice, but the maintenance guy was a real killjoy. He banned my son from using his goggles in the pool and went out of his way to reprimand him until I finally had to have a word with him. We met the owners of #106 and really stuck up a great relationship. They had a 12 year old boy as well, and our boys became unseperable. Our unit had a real ant problem coming in from the ceiling above the refrigerator, but the office sent down someone to address the issue very promptly. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kam 2 is our favorite beach. We love Maui and specifically Kihei. We will try to get back again next year.

Terrific Ground Floor Unit

This unit is conveniently located on the ground floor near the pool and very close to the ocean. It has not been remodeled as nicely as some of the other Kamaole Nalu units but is quite clean and comfortable. The 2nd bedroom has 2 double beds instead of 2 singles like most of the other Kamaole Nalu units. I had a group; so the 2 double beds in the 2nd bedroom was a real plus for us.
