Love the Nalu

We love the Nalu, have stayed many times, first time at this unit. Was too hot in July without A/C! (none are in this complex) Unit was updated nicely. Pool is getting re-tiled in August, that is a needed improvement.

Beautiful place to stay!!!

We loved our stay at the Kamaole Nalu # 205. This was the second year in this unit and it was just like coming home. This rental is so updated and has everything you need plus more. We especially like having Patty in the office on our site. She is so personable ...just the right person to have there. Thank you again for all your hospitality and we'll see you next year!!!

awesome time in Kihei !

The Kamaole Nalu is a great, fairly inexpensive condo that is set right on the beach. We stayed in unit 205 and it was very nicely decorated, had a washer/dryer in it which was wonderful. There was no air-conditioning which worried me in the beginning, but with the cool ocean breeze, it was just right 🙂

The most restful, fun-filled time ever!!

What a great time at the Kamaole Nalu! The condo was so beautiful and nicely updated. I love having 2 bedrooms (each with flat screen t.v.) and a washer-dryer in the unit. This is a family oriented site which is great. The location with an ocean view for all is amazing. Nothing like a cup of coffee on the lanai in the morning while watching the whales jumping out front!! We also liked the fact that you had Pat on site in case we had a problem. Thats important!! She was always visiting and checking up on everyones needs. We will return again to the same unit next year and can hardly wait!!!

Two Weeks in Paradise...

We absolutely loved our time in Maui and our stay at kamaole Nalu #205. Beautifully renovated suite, close proximity to beach, pool and local amenities made it the perfect spot for our family to vacation. Loved sitting on the lanai watching sunsets, whales, dolphins, etc, walking the Kam beaches and enjoying Kihei.

Paradise

Wake up in the morning to the sound of waves...when we arrived the place was immaculate..and they had coffee supplies for us for our first morning there...right on the beach...pool..bbq... Great accomodations...wonderful vacation!

I have stayed at the Nalu many times before (more for location) and it was OK but under alii Resorts there has been a definite improvement. Outside, well maintained lawns, flower beds, pool,and BBQ area. They greeted us at the condo, registered our car, reviewed the place with us, left a contact phone number, and answered any of our questions. We used their services to book restaurants and events. #205 was wonderful, fabulous view, clean, and with well equipped kitchen,towels,beach towels,cooler,washer and dryer. Kudos to the owners on their decorating! Loved the drapes, windows, lani, patio furniture, tile floors(no carpets), great beds and pillows. Location: the best and one of the reasons that I keep coming back to the Nalu so it is also my most favorite thing, it is right in the middle of everything, beach, restaurants, shopping, I can walk everywhere, have a drink, don't worry about driving and really enjoy my vacation! I liked least, I had to go home. But I will be back next year! Aloha!

Maui and paradise as ever.

We've been enjoying Maui for over 25 years and Kamaole Nalu is our preferred place to stay. We enjoy the easy beach access and close proximity to the shopping offered in the Kihei area. While the shopping provides easy access it doesn't not distract from the serenity of Kamaole Nalu. We've stayed in a number of the condo's in Kamaole Nalu and #205 is among our favorites. We'll be back to paradise!

Great time at Nalu!

The location of Kamaole Nalu is its biggest plus: right between Kamaole 1&2 - two clean and kid-friendly beaches. The snorkling right off the beach is as good as anywhere. I swam with three turtles on our last day, right off the beach. Watching the sunset from your balcony or the beachfront lawn never becomes a bore. The communal Bbqs, located beside the building, are in high demand each night, offering a great place to share stories and ideas with other guests. 205 is a nice suite and well stocked. It's not very big and some people may find it a bit tight but it was fine for our family of 4. Some people may find it to be too close to the outdoor pool but the noise from kids playing didn't bother us. The building is located on the busy Kehei road, making groceries, ice cream, and snorkel rentals only a short walk away.

2Weeks of perfect relaxation with perfect weather.

The unit is very tastefully furnished,with all the utensils we required and of a high standard.It's location right on the beach couldn't be better.Our flight home to Vancouver didn't leave until 1045 pm and we would have appreciated a "Hospitality" room,as often provided in other resorts.

Wonderful experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautifully remodeled condo! It is an excellent use of space and worked very well for our family of 5. The condo had everything we could possibly need and we loved the proximity to the ocean. The beach was fantastic! We wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks so much!

Our favorite

Kamaole Nalu has been our resort of choice in Maui for over ten years. The units are being upgraded and the property management is better than before. We love the location and the fact that the resort is small enough to get acquainted with other guests.
  • Check-in time is 3:00pm / Check-out time is 11:00am.
  • Confirmed reservations will receive a letter of confirmation with a reservation number.
  • All units are non-smoking and pets are not permitted.
  • Rates are subject to change.
  • All rates are subject to 13.42% Hawaii State GE/TA Tax and are based on Standard Occupancy.
  • A 3-night deposit is required at time of booking. (Check deposits within 7 days of booking. All payments must be in US Dollars.)
  • Guest is responsible for the effects of changes in exchange rate and all fees. Refunds will not be issued due to exchange rate changes.
  • Full prepayment is due 60 days prior to arrival (90 days for Christmas/New Year’s bookings, 120 days for stays of 28+ nights).  Your final payment will be automatically charged to the credit card on file on the appropriate due date unless auto-charge is declined.
  • All reservations are subject to a Guest Service Fee which includes WiFi (when available), parking, local phone calls, applicable property fees and applicable cleaning costs.
  • Applicable cleaning fees will be added for stays less than 5 nights.
  • An Early Check In or Late Check-Out may be available at 50% of non-discounted daily rate.
  • Christmas/New Year’s reservations are not subject to normal discounts and minimum nights are required based on unit size. A 10 night minimum is required on 1 bedroom units and a 14 night minimum is required on 2 and 3 bedroom units.
  • Long-Stay Reservations: Any stay 28 nights or longer requires a deposit equaled to 25% of the total value of the reservation. Final prepayment is due 120 days prior to arrival.
  • Cancellation Policy: A fee of 10% of the gross rent or $200, whichever is greater, will be assessed for cancellations received 60+ days prior to arrival (90+ days for Christmas/New Year’s, 120+ days for Long-Stay). For cancellations received within 60 days of arrival (90 days for Christmas/New Year’s bookings, 120 days for stays of 28+ nights) or after arrival date, payments will be retained. If the space can be re-rented, a pro-rata refund will be issued for reservations paid in full.
  • Approved refunds will be remitted via check only and mailed to t he address on file.
  • Standard Occupancy is the base number of persons allowed per dwelling unit based on standard bedding and restrictions. 1-Bedroom (2 people), 2-Bedroom (4 people), 3-Bedroom (6 people). Additional person(s) charge of $20 plus tax per person per night above standard occupancy using standard bedding to a maximum occupancy of: 1-Bedroom (4 people), 2-Bedroom (6 people), and 3-Bedroom (8 people). Children 12 and under are free (extra person fee does not apply), but are counted towards maximum occupancy.
  • Accidental Property Damage Waiver: Accidental Property Damage Waiver affords protection to guests for accidental breakage or damage to the individual rental home up to a maximum of $1000. Damage must be reported by the guest to the Ali’i Resorts office prior to departure. Damage not reported by guests will not be covered by Accidental Property Damage Waiver and the guest will be responsible for any damages incurred. Cost is $40 + tax and is non-refundable. This waiver protection is added to the rent unless guest opt-out/decline protection in writing on Rental Agreement. If you choose to deny the damage waiver, you will be charged a refundable $400 cash security deposit.
  • Guest is responsible for all phone charges exceeding local standard service.
  • All guests are required to complete the registration form within 24 hours of arrival with Ali’i Resorts and, if required, register with the property. Failure to complete the registration form may result in immediate eviction.
  • All guests are required to abide by the Rules of the vacation rental property.
  • Owner and /or Ali’i Resorts and /or hired vendors of Owner/Alii Resorts may enter property with 24-hour notice to tenants occupying unit (except during scheduled cleanings and emergencies) to perform necessary repairs or maintenance, inspect unit or show unit, if necessary.
  • Ali’i Resorts, LLC reserves the right to change your condominium accommodation due to repairs, condo owner use and acts of God. If this should happen, Ali’i Resorts, LLC will make efforts to provide you with another condominium of equal or greater value at the same rate you were paying, or refund the difference for a lower rate condominium, or allow cancellation of your reservation without a cancellation penalty.
  • Guests and other parties involved with the reservation, including but not limited to, travel agents or online travel agents, hereby agree to verify all reservation details including, but not limited to, the accuracy of the rate, applicable fees, condominium complex, and condominium unit number specified in the reservation confirmation.  Ali’i Resorts is not responsible for any third party’s failure to display or provide current photos of the property.  The most current photos are located at www.AliiResorts.com
