Kamaole Nalu Resort is a six-story oceanfront property located in South Kihei. It offers time stopping views of the dazzling Pacific Ocean and a friendly casual atmosphere. Adjacent to the property is Kamaole Beach, well known for its romantic sunsets, great swimming, and seasonal whale watching. Kamaole Nalu Resort offers free parking, oceanfront pool, and a gas barbecue area. The interiors include fully equipped kitchens, cable television, free local phone service, free high speed internet, private lanais and luxury linens supplied directly by Ali'i Resorts.


A note from the Owner:  Our two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite is ocean & beach front, perched between Kamaole Beach Parks I and II. Our location on the 5th floor, facing south/southwest allows us to have unobstructed and pristine "forever" ocean and beach views from our lanai, living room, kitchen and master bedroom.


Experience the excitement of seeing green turtles, whales, endangered monk seals, dolphins, manta rays and many tropical fish from the lanai, complex lawn or snorkeling steps from our ocean front location. Enjoy our just completed complete remodel of our Maui home.

Thanks So Much!

We had a great time. Also going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean right outside window WOW! The condo has a lot to offer, with a bathroom for each room and vanity area was a neat plus. The only concern was how the line of sight that others could see when they were on their balconies, if your curtain was open, it would be wise to be properly dressed because several times when you look up, you would see somebody looking at you. Our host Pat, Awesome!

A very good apartment in a great location on a great beach.

It's all about the beach. The apartment itself is well apportioned for two couples, in a quiet building and walking distance to coffee shops, clothing and restaurants; and of course it's right on the beach. I especially like the bbq pit, very useful and a good social space. The area is very peaceful. The ocean is the loudest noise and the building itself is pretty much shut down/quiet by 9:00 each evening.

Kamaole Nalu is Incredible!

We had a wonderful time watching the ocean and turtles were especially active this year. Weather was perfect and the unit was fantastic. You could not ask for more in any Maui location. Onsite management and maintenance is top notch, both of which make your stay even more enjoyable! We are coming back January and august 2014 if that is any indication of how much we enjoyed our stay. We love the Nalu and recommend it highly to anyone wanting to experience "Paradise".

Beautiful spot for a family vacation

We stayed at Kamaole Nalu 505 for ten days and enjoyed every second of it. The apartment is beautiful and comes with everything one could ask for. We had the chance to look at a couple of other apartments and 505 was definitely the best one. The view is unbeatable. Kamaole Nalu is a fantastic complex. Clean and taken care of. Great location also. The beach is breathtaking and great for smaller kids, too. Thanks, Pat, for being so helpful!

A Little Piece of Heaven on Earth

This has been our 'home away from home' for over 20 years. The beach is one of the best and the views are breathtaking with front row seats to watch the whales and turtles every day, the snorkeling is never disappointing. The apartment is very inviting and well equipped especially for long term stays and the management staff are always very accommodating.

We loved it, fantastic location

Our first time on Maui and the best recommendation we could give would be that we want to go back next year and stay at the same place. We loved everything about it: apartment, location, amenities, weather, people. It's a beautiful place.

Great place...however

We just stayed at Kamaole Nalu - the rental was not an issue. However, we experienced 4 days of construction work right over our heads. After the second day I called the agency in charge of the location and was told it was going to be a long term project. Myresponse was that in that case they should have notified the owners of the condo and maybe it should not have been rented during this "long term Project" . I am talking about hammering - breaking tile and glass and reconstructing the overhead condo. We could not rest - or even think! This noise continued from 8 a.m. through 4 p.m. or so. I understand the owners of 505 probably had no idea of this. I would rent the condo again - however, there is obviously a communication issue between the ali'i Resorts and the condo owners.

Can we bring it home!

Great condo...well decorated,the kitchen had every little gadget that could ever be required for cooking; bedrooms well appointed for 4. The view was forever, and amazing whatever time of day. Access to beach perfect, spent early hours with coffee, just walking and walking, then late afternoon swimming. Getting anywhere on the island was very simple. Needed a bit of assistance from resort management, and they were right on top of everything..they even checked in occassionally to see how we were doing...fine, thank you. Hope to be back for more than a week within the year.

Best Condo in Maui

Combine the condo's furnishings and amenities with it's location (across the street from multiple restaurants, shops and a general store, and right between Kam 1 and Kam 2 beaches) and the spectacular view from the lanai, this unit is the best rental condo on the island. Our third stay in this unit and we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else whenever we visit Maui.

Great Family Trip!

The Kamaole Nalu was recommended to us by a friend. This was a family vacation - myself, my husband, and two grown children 23 and 25yrs of age. We've never been to Hawaii and we absolutely loved it! The condo was right on the beach - we could snorkel right from the property. Surfing and paddle boards were readily available from various shops across the street, as was snorkel equipment. We did all the tourist things - the Road to Hana, Haleakala Crater, the drive to Kaanapali Beach, sunset cruise (strongly recommend alii Nui Sunset Sail) to name a few. Our location in Kihei was fairly central. Before going to Hawaii, I phoned ali'i Resorts, and they were very helpful. I had quite a few questions with regards to pretty much everything. My biggest concern was that the condo wasn't air conditioned. We didn't miss it at all. With the windows open and the trade winds, you really don't need it. We stayed on Maui for 12 days and we prefer to have a kitchen and a bit bigger living area than a small hotel room. The Nalu was perfect. And the view - unbelievable! (try for an 05 or 06 unit - these are closer to the water) Would do it again in a heart beat.

Relaxing with comfort and a beautiful view.

This is the second time we have stayed in this unit. It is very comfortable and beautifully maintained. The owners update it on a regular basis and are very concerned with our comfort. We will definitely return to Unit 505

Rest and Relaxation

We were fortunate enough to spend 17 days in this unit and I don't think words are sufficient enough for how enjoyable our stay was. We felt rested and relaxed, like we had been there for a month after just one day. We viewed whales in the distance from the Lanai and swam with turtes every single day. The unit is so comfortable, clean, quiet, and private. The beach was perfect for our 2 daughters aged 6 and 8 as it was nothing but sand. We didn't have to worry about stepping on coral or waves carrying them away. We spent the mornings on the beach, explored in the afternoon, and swam in the pool in the evening. This unit is in close proximity to many grocery stores, convenience stores, and small shops. We ate in most days and nights but ventured out (with the help of Yelp.com) to some great restaurants which are almost all Byob. Loved Coconuts for their fish tacos, Outrigger Pizza Company, Fred's Mexican, 808 for dinner, and Cafe O'Lei wasn't too bad. Maui Zipline was a definate highlight and so was the whale watching tour. We bought snorkle gear at Costco and a boogie board for cheaper than it would be to rent or pick up across the street. There are no toys in the unit. We are already planning our next stay back and have recommended this unit to several of our friends. As a matter of fact, we had friends whose trip overlapped and we were able to compare our unit to their hotel room in Ka'annapali. They are considering renting the unit next to this one to come out at the same time next year.

Paradise!

We have been vacationing at the Kamaole Nalu for over 20 years. The last several years we have been fortunate to stay in Unit #505. This unit is nicely decorated in a authentic Hawaiian theme with beautiful artwork throughout. The view from the Lanai is stunning. Our favorite part of visiting here is relaxing on the lawn in comfort with a gorgeous swimming beach just a few steps away. Ali"i resorts are very welcoming and take care of all the details.

nice stay in Kihei

This condo is very well located and practical. We could eat 4 on our own terrasse with the sound of the waves. We also use the BBQ close to the pool to eat on the patio. The beach is at direct access, you don't have to cross the street. Boutiques and restaurants are close by. We would have use more storage room for our stuff (luggage and snorkel gear) but we were able to manage it OK.

A Fabulous vacation in Maui

Everything was wonderful as usual, #505 is our favorite. The view is spectacular and we love the location, it is close to everything. The kitchen is well stocked and beds are comfortable.

We are coming back!

We always enjoy Kamaole Nalu, and staying in 505 this year was a special treat. We have stayed in this unit before but the upgrades that have been made to the unit are wonderful. We are already booked for our return next year in this same unit. My wife and I and two friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are anxious to get back!

Pure paradise - Nalu is a supreme property & Unit 505 fantastic

If you are thinking of visting Maui you can't go wrong staying at the Kamole Nalu property. We have been staying there for many years and there are no better views. Unit 505 is our favorite because the owners have decorated it beatufully and equipped it with everything you might need. The folks at ali Resorts couldn't be more friendly and are there to make your visit all it can be. We love it and will be coming back for many years to come.

Great property and location

The unit was well equiped, all that your family needs to be comfortable. The location is excellent. Right on a great beach, snorkelling right infront of the unit and fun shops to poke around in just across the street.

best vacation we've ever had

We recently stayed in #505. The unit was clean, service was great' and the staff made us feel welcome during the whole vacation. We absolutely will stay here again. Hopefully next visit to Maui, we can stay in the same unit orr one that is close to this unit as the view was absolutely beautiful. Sitting on the Lanai was so relaxing... This was the best vacation that we have ever had. We went to Maui for a wedding and fell in love with the area and every one was friendly. Recommend the Kamaole Nalu to anyone with a family.

  • Confirmed reservations will receive a letter of confirmation with a reservation number.
  • All units are non-smoking and pets are not permitted.
  • Rates are subject to change.
  • All rates are subject to 13.42% Hawaii State GE/TA Tax and are based on Standard Occupancy.
  • A 3-night deposit is required at time of booking. (Check deposits within 7 days of booking. All payments must be in US Dollars.)
  • Guest is responsible for the effects of changes in exchange rate and all fees. Refunds will not be issued due to exchange rate changes.
  • Full prepayment is due 60 days prior to arrival (90 days for Christmas/New Year’s bookings, 120 days for stays of 28+ nights).  Your final payment will be automatically charged to the credit card on file on the appropriate due date unless auto-charge is declined.
  • All reservations are subject to a Guest Service Fee which includes WiFi (when available), parking, local phone calls, applicable property fees and applicable cleaning costs.
  • Applicable cleaning fees will be added for stays less than 5 nights.
  • An Early Check In or Late Check-Out may be available at 50% of non-discounted daily rate.
  • Christmas/New Year’s reservations are not subject to normal discounts and minimum nights are required based on unit size. A 10 night minimum is required on 1 bedroom units and a 14 night minimum is required on 2 and 3 bedroom units.
  • Long-Stay Reservations: Any stay 28 nights or longer requires a deposit equaled to 25% of the total value of the reservation. Final prepayment is due 120 days prior to arrival.
  • Cancellation Policy: A fee of 10% of the gross rent or $200, whichever is greater, will be assessed for cancellations received 60+ days prior to arrival (90+ days for Christmas/New Year’s, 120+ days for Long-Stay). For cancellations received within 60 days of arrival (90 days for Christmas/New Year’s bookings, 120 days for stays of 28+ nights) or after arrival date, payments will be retained. If the space can be re-rented, a pro-rata refund will be issued for reservations paid in full.
  • Approved refunds will be remitted via check only and mailed to t he address on file.
  • Standard Occupancy is the base number of persons allowed per dwelling unit based on standard bedding and restrictions. 1-Bedroom (2 people), 2-Bedroom (4 people), 3-Bedroom (6 people). Additional person(s) charge of $20 plus tax per person per night above standard occupancy using standard bedding to a maximum occupancy of: 1-Bedroom (4 people), 2-Bedroom (6 people), and 3-Bedroom (8 people). Children 12 and under are free (extra person fee does not apply), but are counted towards maximum occupancy.
  • Accidental Property Damage Waiver: Accidental Property Damage Waiver affords protection to guests for accidental breakage or damage to the individual rental home up to a maximum of $1000. Damage must be reported by the guest to the Ali’i Resorts office prior to departure. Damage not reported by guests will not be covered by Accidental Property Damage Waiver and the guest will be responsible for any damages incurred. Cost is $40 + tax and is non-refundable. This waiver protection is added to the rent unless guest opt-out/decline protection in writing on Rental Agreement. If you choose to deny the damage waiver, you will be charged a refundable $400 cash security deposit.
  • Guest is responsible for all phone charges exceeding local standard service.
  • All guests are required to complete the registration form within 24 hours of arrival with Ali’i Resorts and, if required, register with the property. Failure to complete the registration form may result in immediate eviction.
  • All guests are required to abide by the Rules of the vacation rental property.
  • Owner and /or Ali’i Resorts and /or hired vendors of Owner/Alii Resorts may enter property with 24-hour notice to tenants occupying unit (except during scheduled cleanings and emergencies) to perform necessary repairs or maintenance, inspect unit or show unit, if necessary.
  • Ali’i Resorts, LLC reserves the right to change your condominium accommodation due to repairs, condo owner use and acts of God. If this should happen, Ali’i Resorts, LLC will make efforts to provide you with another condominium of equal or greater value at the same rate you were paying, or refund the difference for a lower rate condominium, or allow cancellation of your reservation without a cancellation penalty.
  • Guests and other parties involved with the reservation, including but not limited to, travel agents or online travel agents, hereby agree to verify all reservation details including, but not limited to, the accuracy of the rate, applicable fees, condominium complex, and condominium unit number specified in the reservation confirmation.  Ali’i Resorts is not responsible for any third party’s failure to display or provide current photos of the property.  The most current photos are located at www.AliiResorts.com
