Menehune Shores is a beautiful six story oceanfront property located in North Kihei and offers unobstructed views of the clear blue Pacific. The property features an immaculately kept lawn area, a shuffleboard court, an onsite restaurant (Monsoon India), a swimming pool and two barbecue areas. It sits next to the historic 16th century royal fish pond of Kalepolepo. The property is an excellent location for stunning sunsets, swimming, romantic beach strolling, and seasonal whale watching. The unit interiors include fully equipped kitchens, cable television, free local phone service, private lanais and luxury linens supplied directly by Ali'i Resorts. 


A Note from the Owner:  This unit was completely remodeled in 2013 with beautiful cabinets of carbonized bamboo (completely renewable, sustainable and simply gorgeous), yellow cedar ceilings, planking tile flooring, granite counter-tops, specialty bathroom fixtures (think rain-head) and top of the line appliances. Split-duct AC systems have been installed throughout the condo for individual comfort. Our modern custom remodel design features a Blu-ray home theater system for your enjoyment and USB chargers above every nightstand so your gadgets never go dead. Two of the three bedrooms feature endless ocean views and open to the spacious lanai. The kitchen is completely open so you can enjoy the ocean view while you blend your margaritas and prep your pupus in our kitchen stocked with all the comforts of home. This condo now has in room safe.


The condo is wonderfully close to shopping, the airport, Makena beach, Iao Needle and the farmer's market (amazing butter lettuce and seasonal lilikoi). My favorite thing about it has always been the peaceful feeling when sitting on the lanai, listening to the ocean, spotting whales, the kids playing in the ancient Hawaiian fish pond right out front, and watching the weather change over the West Maui mountains.

Great Place to Stay

The place was newly remodeled. What you see on the pictures is what you get, not less. The view is great and if you have little kids the little beach in front is perfect for them. We loved it and we will definitively recommend to everybody.

Great Time

This place is amazing! The rep was very helpful and showed us everything about the condo. It was decorated very well and we had everything we needed. We will definitely return in the future.

A beautiful view and an awesome condo!

Our trip included my husband, me, our three children(ages 15,12 and 8), and my husbands parents. There was plenty of room for the seven of us and we all enjoyed looking out on the water and seeing whale activity, sunsets and more. This condo has been kept up nicely and had many great features.

Beautiful Condo - Beautiful Views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay @ Menehune Shores. The Condo was exceptionally clean,wonderfully furnished and very roomy. Views from our Lanai were great. We spent many hours out there each day watching the whales. This felt like a home away from home and we hated to leave it.

Beautiful view & great location!

Our recent stay at the Menehune Shores #510 was a great holiday from start to finish. The staff at ali'i Resorts were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We arrived late and getting settled into the condo was a breeze. The condo itself was very clean and had everything we needed for the holiday. The location was a perfect central location and made it easy to get anywhere on the island in only a short drive. The beach at Menehune Shores is a great beach for families, having the break water made it easy for the kids to be in and out of the water without any worries. And the turtles that rest up on the break water were amazing to see on a daily basis! The view from this condo is spectacular and being able to sit out on the balcony and enjoy frequent whale spotting's and beautiful sunsets is a bonus! I would definitely recommend Menehune Shores #510 to someone looking for a fabulous Maui vacation! We will be back for sure!

Beautiful! Great setting and perfect for our family of 5.

We stayed in #510 Menehune shores in January. The unit is beautifully renovated and roomy. We had a direct view of the ocean and could even watch our children play in the sand on the beach from the Lanai. The beach is protected from a rock wall that breaks the waves. The condo was very open and comfortable. I highly recommend it.

Unbelievable experience in Maui

Everything about Unit 510 at Menehune Shores was better than expected. The unit is really nicely done and beautiful. More importantly the unit was spotless, the keys arrived on time, we got great support with a minor issue while we were there and overall had a great experience.

Awesome!

This condo was absolutely wonderful! It had been completely remodeled earlier this year. The owners paid attention to every detail and then some. Granite countertops, timers on the bathroom fans, electric shades on window in living room, internet, stone tile in bathrooms, did I say internet? Stunning decor. They gave me some remodeling ideas for my own home. The location in Kihei on Maui was great for us. A short trip to downtown and located not far from the airport. Scuba dive shops were just down the street. I would stay here again. Thank you so much for sharing your condo with us. Someone was there to check us in and showed us around. If you need help with any activities, they can help you with that too. We had such a wonderful vacation here.

The place to stay in Maui. Excellent location, thoughtfully decorated, very functional.

There were only three of us staying at #510 but this condo would provide comfortable accommodation for six. It is very modern and functional, excellent renovation quality within the last year. It has excellent ocean views and is close to beaches. Extremely good value, would not stay anywhere else on Maui.

Great Lani Sunsets

We just returned from 3 wonderful weeks in Hawaii. Our home the first week was Menehune Shores #510 in Maui. We sent many days searching options for our stay here and finally decided to contact Ali’I Resorts for thoughts on Menehune Shores 3 bedroom units. We worked with Susan who suggested #510 as it was in the final stages of being remodeled and even sent us pictures of the undertaking. The fifth floor condo is beautiful and has a great view from its lani. The kitchen has all new appliances with granite counters and fully stocked cabinets, the beds extremely comfortable, the bathrooms are first class and each bedroom has its own AC control setting. Best of all is the sliding glass “doors” that open not once but twice bringing the outside in. The whole living area becomes part of the lani. Great place to stay in Maui. Susan thanks for directing our family to this great home with spectacular sunsets. We will be back someday

Beautiful, relaxing, luxurious

Our stay at this condo was amazing. I was pleasantly surprised by the beautifully remodeled condo. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay with plenty of room for the 6 of us. It had the amenities of a hotel with the space, convenience, and home appliances of a condo. The lanai had a breathtaking view of the ocean, and the condo was conveniently located a short distance away from downtown Kihei. The beach was peaceful and the pool was perfect. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice view, nice remodel,great location

This unit was newly remodeled with up to date technology. plentiful USB ports, individual room a/c controls. The view was great and it was convenient to everything. The only improvements I would suggest would be softer beds and either moving the outside a/c unit or somehow diverting the flow of hot air from the unit away from the lanai to make it more comfortable.

Wonderful Newly Remodeled Condo!

We have a family of 8 and stayed in this room. Since it was recently remodeled, it was wonderful. The location was perfect. Everyone in the family was happy with the accommodations. There was plenty of beds and room for all of us. We used the pool daily, along with the BBQ grills. The area was kept very clean and the staff was very polite. The stores for necessities was close by the condo. Everything was wonderful, and we hope to return in the future.

Beautiful Condo!!

First I must start with the people at ali'i Resorts who handles the unit. They are the friendliest most helpful people they truly made our experience very relaxing and peaceful!! Thank you!! The unit itself is beautiful, right on the water, with beautiful views. This was our first time staying in Kihei and first time going to Maui in July. The winds at this location were quite strong, could not enjoy the beach here, had to go down to Makena. The unit has just been remodeled and is really modern and beautiful inside, but the beds were a bit hard for my liking. The only other issue we had was the aC system. We needed aC in the front bedroom for the baby, but you can't have the doors open at all or the entire system shuts off even though all rooms have their own unit??? Didn't like that. We had to keep the doors and windows closed and use the aC the entire week and could not enjoy any of the Maui fresh air or the babies room would get too hot or have "Howling" winds going through his room. Don't get me wrong, this place was fabulous and I would even stay there again if my grandbaby wasn't with us??? They just need to reprogram the system so the front bedroom is off the sensors for the aC. The unit is in a great location between Makena/Wailea and Lahaina, great central location and only about 15-20 minutes from the Kahului airport. And yes, it really is as beautifully decorated as the pictures show!!

Wonderful!

Our party of five settled in perfectly in this condo. It was a little warm when we first got there (they turn off all of the air conditioning). The condo has been beautifully updated! The kitchen was a bit small but was appointed well. The small beach beach beside the hotel was perfect for our 4 year old, the water is not deep in the protected lagoon so we didn't have to worry about him.
  • Check-in time is 3:00pm / Check-out time is 11:00am.
  • Confirmed reservations will receive a letter of confirmation with a reservation number.
  • All units are non-smoking and pets are not permitted.
  • Rates are subject to change.
  • All rates are subject to 13.42% Hawaii State GE/TA Tax and are based on Standard Occupancy.
  • A 3-night deposit is required at time of booking. (Check deposits within 7 days of booking. All payments must be in US Dollars.)
  • Guest is responsible for the effects of changes in exchange rate and all fees. Refunds will not be issued due to exchange rate changes.
  • Full prepayment is due 60 days prior to arrival (90 days for Christmas/New Year’s bookings, 120 days for stays of 28+ nights).  Your final payment will be automatically charged to the credit card on file on the appropriate due date unless auto-charge is declined.
  • All reservations are subject to a Guest Service Fee which includes WiFi (when available), parking, local phone calls, applicable property fees and applicable cleaning costs.
  • Applicable cleaning fees will be added for stays less than 5 nights.
  • An Early Check In or Late Check-Out may be available at 50% of non-discounted daily rate.
  • Christmas/New Year’s reservations are not subject to normal discounts and minimum nights are required based on unit size. A 10 night minimum is required on 1 bedroom units and a 14 night minimum is required on 2 and 3 bedroom units.
  • Long-Stay Reservations: Any stay 28 nights or longer requires a deposit equaled to 25% of the total value of the reservation. Final prepayment is due 120 days prior to arrival.
  • Cancellation Policy: A fee of 10% of the gross rent or $200, whichever is greater, will be assessed for cancellations received 60+ days prior to arrival (90+ days for Christmas/New Year’s, 120+ days for Long-Stay). For cancellations received within 60 days of arrival (90 days for Christmas/New Year’s bookings, 120 days for stays of 28+ nights) or after arrival date, payments will be retained. If the space can be re-rented, a pro-rata refund will be issued for reservations paid in full.
  • Approved refunds will be remitted via check only and mailed to t he address on file.
  • Standard Occupancy is the base number of persons allowed per dwelling unit based on standard bedding and restrictions. 1-Bedroom (2 people), 2-Bedroom (4 people), 3-Bedroom (6 people). Additional person(s) charge of $20 plus tax per person per night above standard occupancy using standard bedding to a maximum occupancy of: 1-Bedroom (4 people), 2-Bedroom (6 people), and 3-Bedroom (8 people). Children 12 and under are free (extra person fee does not apply), but are counted towards maximum occupancy.
  • Accidental Property Damage Waiver: Accidental Property Damage Waiver affords protection to guests for accidental breakage or damage to the individual rental home up to a maximum of $1000. Damage must be reported by the guest to the Ali’i Resorts office prior to departure. Damage not reported by guests will not be covered by Accidental Property Damage Waiver and the guest will be responsible for any damages incurred. Cost is $40 + tax and is non-refundable. This waiver protection is added to the rent unless guest opt-out/decline protection in writing on Rental Agreement. If you choose to deny the damage waiver, you will be charged a refundable $400 cash security deposit.
  • Guest is responsible for all phone charges exceeding local standard service.
  • All guests are required to complete the registration form within 24 hours of arrival with Ali’i Resorts and, if required, register with the property. Failure to complete the registration form may result in immediate eviction.
  • All guests are required to abide by the Rules of the vacation rental property.
  • Owner and /or Ali’i Resorts and /or hired vendors of Owner/Alii Resorts may enter property with 24-hour notice to tenants occupying unit (except during scheduled cleanings and emergencies) to perform necessary repairs or maintenance, inspect unit or show unit, if necessary.
  • Ali’i Resorts, LLC reserves the right to change your condominium accommodation due to repairs, condo owner use and acts of God. If this should happen, Ali’i Resorts, LLC will make efforts to provide you with another condominium of equal or greater value at the same rate you were paying, or refund the difference for a lower rate condominium, or allow cancellation of your reservation without a cancellation penalty.
