Wailea Elua Village is an exclusive beachfront property located in the heart of the resort community of Wailea. This relaxing low-density property consists of two-story buildings terraced over twenty-four acres of immaculate tropical landscaping. Beautiful Ulua Beach fronting the property is a well-known snorkeling destination and is great for watching dramatic sunsets, swimming, sunning and whale watching in the winter months. Wailea Elua Village is a gated air-conditioned property that includes two swimming pools, Jacuzzi, beachfront pavilion with barbeques, pickleball/paddle tennis court and free private parking. The spacious interiors include fully equipped kitchens, washers & dryers, cable television, free local and long distance phone service, private lanais and luxury linens supplied directly by Ali’i Resorts. Housekeeping services are included at this resort property. Guests will receive a clean and exchange of all amenities and linens on every 3rd day. Housekeeping services can happen from 8:30am-4:30pm. All days in between are towel drop.

Ali’i Resorts Reservation Policy

Check-In / Check-Out Times

  • Check-in time is 4:00 PM / Check-out time is 10:00 AM
  • Valid identification and matching valid accepted credit card required at the time of check-in.
  • All guests are required to complete the registration form within 24 hours of arrival with Ali’i Resorts, LLC and, if required, register with the property. Failure to complete the registration form may result in access code deactivation and/or immediate eviction.

Reservations

  • Confirmed reservations will receive a letter of confirmation with a reservation number after the signing of the E-signature document.
  • Rates are subject to change.
  • All rates are subject to 14.42% Hawaii State GE/TA Tax as required by law and are based on Standard Occupancy.
  • A 3-night deposit is required at the time of booking for reservations under 28 nights. (Check deposits within 7 days of booking. All payments must be in US dollars.)
  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and AMEX credit card payments.
  • Payments made by check/ACH will receive a 2% discount off the gross rent of the reservation (Deposit AND Final Payments must be made by check/ACH to receive the discount). All ACH payments will require a signed authorization form before your reservation is confirmed.
  • Check payments must be received within 7 days of the date of booking. All check payments must be in US dollars.
  • Long Stay Reservations: Any stay 28 nights or longer requires a deposit equal to 25% of the total value of the reservation.
  • Full prepayment is due 60 days prior to arrival (90 days for Christmas/New Year’s bookings, 120 days for stays of 28+ nights). Your final payment will be automatically charged to the credit card on file on the appropriate due date unless auto-charge is declined.
  • All reservations are subject to a Guest Service Fee that may include but are not limited to applicable cleaning and resort fees.
  • Additional cleaning fees will be added for stays less than 5 nights, when applicable.

Property Damage

  • Accidental Property Damage Waiver: Accidental Property Damage Waiver affords protection to guests for accidental reported breakage or damage to the individual rental home up to a maximum of $1000. Damage must be reported by the guest to the Ali’i Resorts office prior to departure. Damage not reported by guests will not be covered by Accidental Property Damage Waiver and the guest will be responsible for any damages incurred. Cost is $40.00 + tax and is non-refundable. This waiver protection is added to the total reservation cost unless guests opt-out/decline protection in writing on Rental Agreement. If you choose to deny the damage waiver, you will be charged a refundable $400 cash security deposit.

Cancellation and Changes

  • A fee of 10% of the gross rent or $200, whichever is greater, will be assessed for cancellations received 60+ days prior to arrival (90+ days for Christmas/New Year’s, 120+ days for LongStay). For cancellations received within 60 days of arrival (90 days for Christmas/New Year’s bookings, 120 days for stays of 28+ nights) or after arrival date. No refund is available unless space can be rerented. If space can be re-rented, a pro-rata refund will be issued for reservations paid in full. Cancellations are subject to a processing/handling fee.
  • Approved refunds will be remitted via check only and mailed to the address on file.
  • Guest is responsible for the effects of changes in the exchange rate and all fees. Refunds will not be issued due to exchange rate changes.

COVID-19 Exposure

  • An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. By visiting the island of Maui, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

Early Check-In or Late Check-Out

  • An Early Check-In or Late Check-Out may be available at 50% of the non-discounted daily rate on participating condos.

Holidays

  • Christmas/New Year’s reservations are not subject to normal discounts and minimum nights are required based on unit size. A 10- night minimum is required on 1-bedroom units and a 14-night minimum is required on 2- and 3-bedroom units.

Rental Occupancy

  • Standard Occupancy is the base number of persons allowed per dwelling unit based on standard bedding and restrictions. 1-Bedroom (2 people), 2-Bedroom (4 people), 3-Bedroom (6 people).
  • Additional person(s) charge(s) of $20 plus tax per-person, per-night above standard occupancy using standard bedding to a maximum occupancy of 1-Bedroom (4 people), 2-Bedroom (6 people), and 3-Bedroom (8 people).
  • Children 12 and under are free (extra person fee does not apply) but are counted towards maximum occupancy.
  • All units are non-smoking. Pets are not permitted.
  • Ali’i Resorts, LLC is not responsible for the retrieval and return of lost and found items. Shipping/handling fees apply for mailing back lost and found items. A minimum charge of $40 plus the cost of shipping applies.
  • Guest is responsible for all phone charges exceeding local standard service and/or additional ordered cable charges.
  • Ali’i Resorts, LLC is not responsible for childproofing accommodations.
  • Ali’i Resorts, LLC will communicate with guests as Ali’i Resorts is notified of disruptions to the tenant’s enjoyment due to construction projects, noise at neighboring properties, or interruption in available amenities. Properties are treated professionally for insect control. Additional measures are available upon request. Appliances and electronics which include but are not limited to: air conditioning units, TV’s, DVD players, water heaters, washer/dryers, internet, and
    phone service are known to be in operation upon arrival unless the guest is notified otherwise. The guest accepts that unexpected impacts happen due to construction projects, noise at neighboring properties, interruption in available amenities, insects, failed appliances/electronics, interruptions in utilities including but not limited to the internet may occur and guest agrees to hold Ali’i Resorts/Owner harmless for such incidents. Ali’i Resorts, LLC agrees
    to make good faith efforts to resolve the reported problem as quickly as possible.
  • Owner and /or Ali’i Resorts, LLC, and /or hired vendors of Owner/Alii Resorts, LLC may enter property with 24-hour notice to tenants occupying unit (except during scheduled cleanings and emergencies) to perform necessary repairs or maintenance, inspect unit or show unit, if necessary.
  • Ali’i Resorts, LLC reserves the right to change guest condominium/home accommodation. In most cases, this is due to repairs, condo owner use, and/or acts of God. If this should happen, Ali’i Resorts, LLC will make good faith efforts to provide you with another condominium/home of equal or greater value at the same
    rate you were paying, or refund the difference for a lower rate condominium/home, or allow cancellation of guest’s reservation without a cancellation penalty.
  • Guests and other parties involved with the reservation, including but not limited to, travel agents or online travel agents, hereby agree to verify all reservation details including, but not limited to, the accuracy of the rate, applicable fees, condominium complex, and condominium unit number specified in the reservation confirmation.
  • Ali’i Resorts, LLC is not responsible for any third party’s failure to display or provide current photos of the property or for variation in 3rd party posted rates. All 3rd parties are advised to and are responsible for posting accurate rates. Alii Resorts, LLC does not control, nor is responsible for any 3rd party booking site fees. Guest & Ali’i Resorts Agreement

  • Guests agree that any disagreements pertaining to this reservation policy will first be attempted to be resolved by good faith negations. Guests and Alii Resorts, LLC agree that if a dispute has not been successfully resolved within 30 days, the matter will be submitted to mediation for resolution in Maui, Hawaii prior to any litigation and any litigation pertaining to this reservation policy will take place exclusively in courts located in Maui County, Hawaii.
  • This reservation policy represents the entire Agreement of the guests and Alii Resorts, LLC, and may be modified only in writing. It will be governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii and will be binding on a successor, assigns, or devisees. If any provision in this reservation policy is unenforceable, the remaining provisions are valid and enforceable and apply to all occupants within the accommodation.

Restful and beautiful

Working with alii was quite good and easy. The property has beautiful views and is a good-sized one bedroom with couch-sofa. The extra bathroom is quite useful. A bit of a walk to the beach and pool, but just gives us more exercise. All in all, a good property and value.

Best vacation ever

My wife and I have been to the Hawaiian Islands before and always enjoyed them; however this time our stay at Elua was the best ever with not a single thing that we would have wanted to change in our 16 evenings there. Perfect with a capital P!

Best condo location on Maui--a little pece of tropical heaven

Managed by Destination Resorts, Maui, the Elua village rental unit was on a spectacular , beach, in a beautiful, low-rise[2 story] low density, gated , luxury condo development, next to the finest 5 star hotel resorts on Maui.

My third time at this rental, so i must enjoy it.

I liked it because of the owners, whom I rented it from before,and the home is so well renovated, very comfortable, the view is lovely and the grounds are kept so well. The service was good, I like my privecy, so I only wanted cleaning once a week. Location is great and access to the beach is wonderful. I liked my little corner at the front door in the morning for breakfast, because there was sun, what I liked the least, no sun on the patio, but that would be O.K. for a lot of people.

Pleasant Stay

My husband and I have been spoiled in that we have stayed at other oceanfront units with far better views. That said, they are also much more expensive. For the price, this unit was very pleasant, clean and updated. Our only hesitation in possibly booking for another stay (aside from being an ocean front unit) is that it didn't seem very homey and we are used to being spoiled with other owners who have their units "fully stocked" -- plenty of beach towels, boogie boards, etc. -- feeling that the owners are making you a part of their "home." While very clean and updated, we were disappointed with how empty this unit felt -- like the owners bought it solely as a rental and the only reason there were "extras" in the unit was from other guests. All that said: in terms of condo units we have stayed at outside of the Elua complex, this unit rocks!

Beautiful Maui condo

We recently stayed at this fabulous condo in Maui. The condo has all amenities you would need- full kitchen, barbecue grill, outdoor patio & patio table with beautiful ocean view, chaise lounges, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, kitchen table, plenty of space, and it's completely homey and refreshing. Right when you walk in, you feel a sense of calm and relaxation. The location of the condo couldn't be better. it's close to everything, including most importantly the ocean! We loved siting out on the patio having breakfast or just walking around the beautifully manicured grounds.

We used these reviews to select this condo. Thank you prior travelers. The photos are very true to actual feel and condition. We brought our two kids, 7 & 10 who slept on the fold out bed. It worked out very well. As others have noted, this is a very quiet property in terms of resident expectations so it may not be for loud families or rowdy groups. But it was perfect for a low key family vaca in what we would consider paradise. We chose a condo for the ability to cook meals in. We recommend shopping at the local grocery stores instead of the Safeway, much too expensive. The proximity to the beach is great, two minute walk. The beach itself is perfect. Good snorkeling, not packed, generally safe for the kids. This was the kids first time to hi and first snorkel experience. We were right next to a large turtle the first time out so they were very happy. Regarding the condition of the condo itself, it's very nice. Clearly a good remodel, very clean and spacious. The property mgmt company also did a very nice job throughout the entire booking process and stay itself. Friendly, thorough and responsive... The only reason I didn't rate this as excellent is this particular unit was a little closer the the street than I preferred. But other than a little traffic noise it's not a big issue. Some may actually like that as it's also a short walk to the Wailea shops. The view is great, and as stated before it's a short walk to the beach. But now that we've actually stayed at Elua and have seen some of the great units very near the beach, we may venture out and try a closer one next time. Don't take that as a reason not to select #2003, just as a note that this entire property has some great ocean front units as well. I'm sure they're more expensive though! We thank the owners very much for the experience.

Wonderful stay in Wailea

The accommodations were so lovely. We woke up to a beautiful ocean view every morning, strolled around the peaceful lush grounds, and took advantage of all the restaurants & shops within walking distance. This was our third time to Maui, and staying at Elua village made it the best!

Best relaxing vacation in Wailea!

All the communication prior to checking into the condo was excellent! we were greeted by Pat and she had already turned the air on and had lights on to greet us. Everything was explained very well, we had an amazing time using unit 2003 at Elua and will look forward to coming back and using your services again!

Great Location

All units at the Wailea Elua Village are perfectly situated among a beautiful lawn, garden and terraced landscape with easy access to the beach

As always I enjoyed my stay

I have stayed in this unit several times,so it feels like a second home to me. What I liked the least is the lack of sun on the patio as I enjoy having my meals in the sun. The good part about coming later in the year, I had a lovely veiw of the sunset.

2003 Elua

Was able to check in at 1:00 PM which was very helpful. The personnel from alii were, as usual very friendly and helpful. Condo comfortable and clean. Two bathrooms a good feature. Second year in this condo and reserved for next year.

Less Than Expected

Very dated and not comfortable especially bed. Exterior lounge chairs very uncomfortable. Kitchen not well equipped. Unit had musty mold odor. Plaster falling off at windows and doors due to moisture. Poor value compared to Unit 2011 in same building at Elua Village. Shame - view and location excellent.

Beautiful location, lovely interior, and great layout for a family

Elua 2003 is beautifully decorated and the location is spectacular. The condo has been completely redone. I have stayed in this particular unit quite a few times and know first hand that the condo was basically gutted years ago. The kitchen is completely remodeled with a lovely counter extending towards the dining area and fully equipped, even with rice cooker. I can find everything we need. There used to be a door and shutter that closed off the kitchen in these units and that is completely gone (no trace of that configuration remains). The bed is very comfortable and pillows fluffy. I am impressed with how well this unit has been kept up and decorated. We stayed in a different Elua unit (unit 2001), regrettably, last week on our vacation and we were very disappointed in its condition (not thoughtfully decorated, old style kitchen just a new coat of paint, beds uncomfortable, pillows flat and uncomfortable, sliding doors that didn't lock, etc.). Elua 2003 is a 10 out of ten in comparison to that unit. Plus the view from the lanai in 2003 is beautiful. The patio furniture is comfortable and the new tile is lovely. I highly recommend this unit for anyone, and in particular of family of four like us because of the two full bathrooms. Lovely condo!
