This rich and awe inspiring experience is showcased in over 60 interactive exhibits where exotic ocean creatures live in habitats closely resembling their own natural environments. One of the biggest draws is the 750,000 gallon walk through glass tunnel shark tank with guaranteed shark sightings including a Tiger Shark. Stand inside this tunnel of amazement and watch enormous sting rays, huge tropical fish, and graceful sharks as they all swim over your head.
Another incredible exhibit to sneak a peek into is the glowing jellyfish tank where you will see a 360 degree tank with seats inside to kick back and watch this phenomenon sea life creature in action. Time seems to slow as you watch these graceful yet dangerous creatures float about.
Outside you’ll find multiple pools for viewing and interacting with sea life including local sea turtles, starfish and sea cucumbers. During certain seasons you can watch the impressive humpback whales in the near distance just outside the Ma’alaea harbor.
