Maui Marathon – Sept 20th, Ka’anapali Parkway, Lahaina

If you aren’t one to laze away your vacation then sign up for the Maui Marathon. If 26.2 miles isn’t exactly your idea of a fun vacation activity, then take it down a notch by signing up for the half marathon, 10k or 5k. You can even sign your kids up for the Bubba Gumps Front Street Mile. Maui County Fair – Sept 24th – Sept 27th, Wailuku

Billing itself as Maui’s largest event, the Maui County Fair is in its 93rd year of providing residents and tourists alike with rides, food, and entertainment for all ages. The fair kicks off with the island’s largest parade on Thursday, Sept 24th and includes livestock exhibits, photo and art competitions, how-to demonstrations, and the always popular Chili Cook-Off.
