Your wedding day is YOUR big day, so go big or go home. It doesn’t get much bigger than Maui, one of the most beautiful places on the planet. This is THE destination wedding of your dreams, but where should you get married in Hawaii? There are so many excellent options throughout the island that it was hard to whittle them down to just our top three favorites.

Kukahiko Estate

If you’ve dreamed of having a wedding near the ocean since you were a child, then Maui has several gorgeous estates that will fit the bill. It’s a good idea to find an estate that can offer you private beach access. That way, you won’t have tourists in Speedos wandering through your wedding ceremony. One of our favorite estates is Kukahiko Estate. This family-owned, two-bedroom tropical estate offers a green lawn on the edge of the ocean with a sweeping multi-island view. The kitchen is big and friendly for caterers, and the covered lanai and lawn offer the perfect reception area for meals, dancing, and…more dancing! This estate is perfect for a smaller ceremony of your closest relatives and friends.

Honua Kai Lani Estate

If you are bringing a larger crowd with you to Hawaii, then you can still get the lovely ocean views you want at the beautiful Honua Kai Lani Estate, also known as the Sugarman Estate. The estate stretches for 3.5 acres, providing plenty of space for your first, second, and third cousins! The stunning ocean views will make every picture look gorgeous, and you can also rent a four-bedroom house on the estate to prepare.

Haiku Mill

Haiku Mill was once an old sugar mill, abandoned to the elements. Today, it has been transformed into a charming European style courtyard that will make you feel like a prince or princess in a fairytale wedding. The courtyard features old stone walls covered in lush vines and lit by dazzling chandeliers. The space is big enough for just over 100 people, so you can invite your full family and some friends too. A small cottage on the estate gives you a place to get ready for your big day.
